  • Not sure why niko decides to take such a long run up for his second shot. Surely he has the power to just throw a smooth shot up there with a normal x-step. And may i add that Barry Schultz is the man. He is untouchable when hes hot.

  • i play here at least 2 times a week and never played those holes like that. that is fucking nuts!

  • you ever finish these?

  • You Tube search line: flying plastic the movie. Finally a disc golf movie worth watching.

  • i am shit at throwing frisbees.

  • nice.

  • Geez i love how they putt i cant really whip it like they do i lob it more

  • Schultz is a machine. I am a newbie to this sport. Started in October of 2008 and I am hooked for life. Great video man! Nothing like nature, disc golf, and friends. If you have never played Disc golf and you are watching this video give it a shot. 10 times better than ball golf IMO.

  • The graphics make these videos among the best DG tourney videos available. But next time can you shoot from the basket or a likely fairway landing spot & not the tee? I think it's easier to see the disc and where it goes that way.

Regardless, outstanding work. It must take a lot time to make the graphics and all of that. Thanks for skipping the commentators, too!

  • My preference is always two cameras, one down the fairway and one behind the tee so you can cut between two angles. Some of the '07 footage has this kind of cutting (check out the one clip of Endicott hole 12 where the fairway cameraman gets nailed by a George Smith roller). Unfortunately, we had a camera die halfway through this tourny, so I just stuck with behind the tee for the better audio. I appreciate the feedback, though, and will keep it in mind.

  • Excellent. I'll check that out & do that ebay search. There are some European videos that are really good, but I can do without the commentary -- especially with the graphics you put up so you can understand how they shot a little better. Do you only shoot around StL or do you hit the road, too?

  • Right now I've only had the time to shoot locally. Hopefully at some point I can branch out, but I'm a St. Louis disc golfer, so I'm happy to help support the local scene for now until I get more time to shoot and edit.

  • @jaylewisstl keep up the good work. i'm local and endicott is my favorite.

  • Where can we purchase your dvds? the 07 and the 08 when it comes out?

  • If you go to eBay and search for "2007 St. Louis Tournament," Dave from Gateway has some copies there for $15. Still editing the '08, but Gateway will have them when I finish. My target date for completion is mid-fall.

  • Jay when do you think you will make the 2008 dvd for sale?

  • Last year's took about 9 months to edit because I was building so many graphics from scratch. Since I can reuse many of the maps and hole graphics, it should be a quicker turnaround for the '08 DVD. At the latest, I'd say mid-fall, but I am gunning for sooner if possible. I'm well ahead of where I was last year, and I have a couple days off work for the 4th of July, so should have some new material posted next week.

  • you've outdone yourself... great coverage. it would have been nice to have another camera down the fairway to capture drives and upshots as they came in, but no matter. your footage is always very followable... i dig it.

  • jaylewisstl,

    As always, nice work!

  • I agree with darkenforcer. Definitely nice to see some graphics. nice job.

  • Nice work man.. I just worked out some bugs on my computer maybe I'll get some videos up soon. Outstanding graphics.
