I think it's so naive and/or arrogant to think that he cried because of the fans. It's really because of Camilla. Her management confirmed that they broke up. He was sad about her and that's the reason why he cried. He was just thankful to the fans that's the reason why he said thank you because we fans (yeah don't get me wrong I'm a JB fan) are always there for Joe. And he knows it.
