  • The Creationism Argument is argumentum adnumerum, which means it is synonymous with: "Eat shit. 30 Trillion Flies CANNOT be wrong!"

    I rest my case.

  • no creation was betterment there was several conspirancies and hidden agenda in many creations .even ramayana and mahabharta were with conspirancies and cheatings, misgudings , misleadings ,once some conflicts and qurrels . most of the wars are of those causes .which still is going on and souls are destroying .

the peoples who had to do better and for good qualities of human and souls but they choose their differencs path .

  • request and pray ---every human every soul either good or bad ,angle or evil ,sinner, demon , god or devil every one want to live as a good humanbeing --please save

instead of killing ,spoiling lives, destroying ,sending under earth ,hells ,if some place is given far away from india .and some thing are done for better to improve the qualities of humans and souls .so that every one can live .

  • in india ,tamilnadu ,human souls are taken under earth ,under rocks ,even to several thousnds kilometers under rocks, taking old revenges ,vengenes ,conspirancies ,polatics and given different shapes .in sevrages and made like aliens .taking under earth and beating and burning .please save to every one, every molecules and request to bring all the souls ,creatures from under earth to on earth .and requests to request not to spoil souls and humans.please save from pains sufferings .please save

  • requests you to request to ---

there should not be any hell under earth .if any punishment is given it should be given on the earth only .any souls ,even any molecules should not be taken under earth , sevarages or any hell under earth , for punishment ,any sufferings ,or any kind of torturings .request you to come forward . so far what ever souls has been taken under earth and hells make to bring back on the earth even single molecule also.

  • thank god for the first amendment, or else we'd be living in a theocracy by now

  • I see a lot religious people are acting barbaric toward Richard Dawkins. So I guess it's the other way around from what they think is true, that atheism does not make people violent, religion does (in such "mysterious ways"). ROFL

  • I can see there are some people in the comments section that would be a perfect candidate for the Darwin awards.

  • this dawkins cunt knows fukk allll!!!!!!!!!!

just wanna deck him through his pathetic glasses!!!!!

  • @johnspy1912 the rationality of your response is an inspiration. it totally disproves the popular myth that religious people's beliefs are born of emotion and not fact. (im being sarcastic in case that went over your head)

  • this dawkins cunt knows fukk allll!!!!!!!!!!

  • you chat bollocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the truth of the matter is ..even the most smartest person/scientist on earth, in his own heart believes there has to be something more. aka void in heart thats missing something, like a never ending feeling like ''I'm missing something'' or ''I can't put my finger on it''

  • There's a funny way of looking at the 'find and replace' editing done to the creationist "textbook" Pandas and People. In a few places, the word Creation had been misspelled and the word was not replaced with Intelligent Design, in the following edition. So if you think about it, this demonstrates evolutionary principles. The spelling mistake was a beneficial mutation that allowed the word to survive a catastrophic event, and live on to the next generation of the textbook.

  • i didn't get the David joke....

  • @r022218 The sculpture "David" (a big white naked guy) origionated from Florence. I still don't get the joke either but I can only imagine that has something to do with it.

  • @r022218 The joke is that Michelangelo's statue of David is accidentally renamed Kevin.

  • @r022218 wow.

  • God is an illusion.

  • God and Empirical Logic.

    Matter or God?

    Take your choice!

Some brainless atheists regard matter as independent and imagine that it has itself gained this freedom and elaborated the laws that rule over it.

But how can they believe that hydrogen and oxygen, electrons and protons, should first produce themselves, then be the source for all other beings, and finally decree the laws that regulate themselves and the rest of the material world?

    Pseudo-Scientific Demagoguery!

  • Hey ppl. Sorry dumb question. I didn't get the joke. What happened when David went to Florence. Must be something to do with linguistic nuances that I missed being a non native speaker of English.

  • When you say God doesnt exist, I expect you to say something like, I have gazed under the skies (with this my eyes) and travelled around the universe (walking) and carefully analyzed all the stars of HEAVEN(with these hands) and examined every corner of the Universe but I did not find God. But seeing that you have not done any of these, it is clear to me that you are a moron.

  • I feel hopelessly uncultured right now, I don't get Dawkins' joke about Kevin, David, and Florence. Can someone explain it to me lol? Somebody help out this uncivilized american XD.

  • @seanthedonconsidine Wha? It's an analogy for the creation science to intelligent design name changing. The hero's name originally was David, but the author thought Kevin was a more suiting name. All the while the hero's name REALLY was Florence.

  • Um, ok, I guess lol. Still don't get it, and if I do, not really funny. Stick to science Dawkins, humor isn't exactly your forte. XD

  • The joke is about substituting Kevin for every David (heros original name), which worked till the hero went to florence (in this city the statue of David from Michelangelo is depicted)

    got it now ?

  • ;_; Sadly, no. I swear to the non-existent god I'm not stupid lol. XD

Who cares, I don't listen to Richard Dawkins for humor anyway, although there was plenty of that in The God Delusion. =P

  • @seanthedonconsidine

"David" is a very famous statue created around 1500 by Italian artist Michelangelo and Florence's landmark. The joke is that this statue would've also been renamed Kevin.

  • @MettwurstSamurai I don't know, I think I get it, it's mildly humorous lol. I think I get it now, but, by now it's just like "whatever lol", so, thanks for all your help. XD

  • Michaelangelo's Kevin

    :-)

  • is there any creation without any reason why it exists???

God created evrything with its reason

  • I'm calling poe's law on you.

  • @miguel65469

What is the reason for God?

  • DID you like my story below??? :D

i hope you understand what's the meaning of it :)

  • @miguel65469 Yes, I totally get it: You smoke the good shit, right?

  • @miguel65469 The Immortal Man.

God has testified in His Book that he created ONE man immortal and all knowing. This man was last seen 5000 years ago by Mozes.

Now where is this man? An all knowing man, perpetually middle aged and wandering the Earth must have been seen sometime? Yet we have not seen him since Mozes said he saw him.

It All comes down to that everything God has supposedly ever said has come from a Human Mind. God is simply Humans not wanting to take responsibility.

  • @miguel65469

    THE FOOLISH MAN

There was a man who went around believing fairytales from a 2000 year old book his entire life. He never realized that a book isn't true because the book says it is.

  • You obviously know nothing about evolution. Name one respectable scientist who thinks evolution is only a theory.

  • @Esr700

They are know it's a theory... but they also understand the gravity of that word in scientific terms; meaning, of course, a wide-scope idea that is supported by high amounts of evidence, reasoning, and peer-review. It's as close to truth as is realistically possible, and claiming to know anything with "absolute certainty" is a fallacy because that's impossible.

  • @Esr700 You all say the same thing, "You obviously know nothing about evolution"

You are worse than any brainwashed person, for your are conditioned. You make an evolutionist a respectable scientist, yet reject a creationist. Then you label an evolutionist scientist, respectable.

You sir are nothing but a trained animal in a circus. Evolution IS a theory, you obviously are blinded to that FACT.

  • Tsk, Tsk. You silly redneck Americans and your petty belief in that foolish God. Buy my book for $35 and be enlightened. You fools. I am British and I am atop the bloody foodchain. My mum said so.

  • Im american and i agree with you, it just angers me that my people believe in this blood thirsty abomination called Yahweh, man fuck religion.

  • I was a bit too sarcastic in my comment. It happens. However, I have tolerance toward religion. I find it interesting. If one wants to believe in God than so be it. On the other hand, If you don't want to be a believer that's okay also. Both christians or religious zealots in general don't share such a view. It's my way or the highway. Dawkins is brilliant but he rubs me the wrong way. He is an atheist zealot. But that's okay because I believe that Joe Pesci is God.....nevermind.

  • Yeah your right, people just believe. Yesterday i was in a gas station, when i was buying some food, two women ask me about a book i was carrying, 'The God Delusion', i ask her if she believes in god, she said yes, and i said 'well i don't', she ask me why, and i said 'i just don't', and then she ask me how do i wake up every morning and how do i stay healthy, this is when i get a little mad, because it is clearly obvious, i tried to abreviate by saying its evolution, and she ignored me.

  • There is no such thing a too sarcastic when talking about religion, you should use every opportunity to piss all over it. Religion is a lie. All of them. It is not ok to believe in god, and I don't see why you can have any tolerance towards it. You don't respect or tolerate idiots in other parts of your life, am I right?

  • Religion, to me, is merely a metaphorical history of nature and morals. Any artform could be considered the same. Religion has had a powerful impact on the collective psyche and that is nothing to piss on. Science is not the end all be all. The great minds once thought that the earth was flat after all. Also, I do tolerate idiots only because of my unfortunate propensity towards violence, but I would never respect them.

  • Religion a metaphorical history of nature and morals?

Exactly how? God spent the first 4 books wiping out people. Not to mention, his treatment towards women, defenseless children, Rape, Genocide, destruction of any who thought independently.

You may pick versus that support good morals but then turn the page and there will be another against it. Good people cherry pick the good and ignore the bad not because the bible is moral but because they are moral.

  • I don't understand your question/statement.

  • Wrong. Evolution is a fact (in the sense that life changes over time). It's also a theory, in the sense that natural selection is the (very well-supported) theory that explains the fact of evolution.

  • the uneducated creationists will do anything to keep manipulating and controlling people.

the scientific inaccuracies of religious texts should be TAUGHT alongside the sciences

  • an awesome idea....a 2 fold solution

  • "many of my colleagues are very happy to get into bed with the bishops and wickers"

are his colleagues young christian boys?

  • I know from experience that reason and logic is not all there is in the world. Faith, like science, is something I had to search for. All an Atheist knows about God is that they've never seen Him/Her/It

Some say God is our spiritual father/mother, while others say the Gods (The Anunnaki) visited our planet thousands of years ago and interbred with our primitive ancestors, so that their progeny (created in their image) would assume responsibility for the tasks that the Gods no longer performed

  • why the insults - why not information?

  • Because they're fun and this is the internet.

What are your references when you say that "some say..."?

  • Checkout these videos and I hope u change ur mind about insulting people for fun > _5PZx4M3Vn0 - b9mIHSnafro - 8YhubdKvMjE

  • Checked them out and all I have to say is...

Lawdy, lawdy halleluja, I am now a believer!!!1

I now a convinced that we all came from angels named Anunaki, who fell from the heavens 6000 years ago. And form now on I shall trust all cooks who claim to be spiritual leaders, regardless of how absurd they might sound, for I has seen teh light.

Also I shan't throw any more insults for they are sin and offensive towards Jeebus.

    Amen.

  • some say hot dogs taste better with ketchup

    some say only mustard

  • know what? GOD just suck my dick! so why dont you do the same or get lost!

  • Thats gay telling another man to suck your dick. Being an atheist give's someone an excuse to act uncivilized, especially since Darwinism basically says that we're Ape's . Christians are civilized kosher intellectuals. And atheist are usaully rude and vilel, only with Satanic wisdom and not true divine inspired truth ,knowledge and wisdom by Almighty God . Atheist love lie's,they hate evidence and the truth.

  • I think you are full of $h1t. What are your academic credentials?

  • Evolutionists are apes and pigs. Gravity is the one true religion.

  • in what way

  • NO! Atomic theory is the one true religion. I hate those evolutionists and I spit on gravitationalists; evil swine!

  • wow since when? Are biologists preachers now? heck no lol.

  • weneedhelp321: you are entirely wrong on your claim.

  • maybe we should stop looking for differences and start looking for compatabilities. logically. Okay, first thing: science is logical, so we start with saying evolution is true and holy books are not literal. 2nd, there is no scientific explanation how energy came to be, and how a universe can be created from nothing - logic dictates something beyond understanding. Is there a personal god? probably not. Did something create the universe, well, something had to. conclusion: agnosticism is logical

  • That's not sound logic, wolfman.

  • That's how i used to think. Until i realised by saying something created the first 'stuff' at the beginning, something had to have created the thing which created the first stuff.

Then you realise it's FAR more likely that a very non-complex thing is more likely to come into existance by random chance than a more complex thing coming into existance out of nowhere. Therefor agnosticism is extremely unlikely to be the truth and Atheism a whole lot more likely and the more logical choice

  • "Did something create the universe, well, something had to. conclusion: agnosticism is logical" Asuming the universe was created or had to start from something is not realy logical it's just speculating the unkown what do you mean by agnosticism that your on the fence beetween the universe was created or believe in a multi verse there could be evan more explanations that we could never imagine. Does not matter what you believe in its what the evidance tells us

  • I didn't understand the Florence comment?

    Can anybody explain?

  • well florence is in italy... so in the book somebody called keven (originally david) the italian eqivalent for david.............. lots of confusion

  • There's a statue i Florence called David.

  • Michelangelos world famous statue of (the biblical) David is in Florence. But as the author changed all "David" for Kevin, is´was then of course Nichelangelos "Kevin"... Which isent that well known, lol

  • oh .. it ended just when I was really getting into it ..

great stuff, and good to see Dawkins in the flesh

  • as an American I can say yes, alot of people believe that there's no incompatibility between evolution and God of the Bible.. because alot of people don't study the Bible--They're readily available everywhere but never read.If you are filled with doctrine that death came after Adam as Genesis says, then it's much harder to reconcile "symbolically"-

"as in the first Adam all died, as in the 2nd Adam,Christ, all will be made alive."
