So it looks like they're typing quickly, when really it's in slow motion for them, then when the recording is replayed, the recording ignores the fact that it was slowed down, so it just looks like they're fast.

Clearly the game is incorrectly comparing strings (text). It looks like repeated letters are combined and incorrect letters are ignored. So "baby sea bass lip flayer" matches "baseball player" like this: "BA__ SE_ BA__ L__ _LAYER".

The (hilariously bad) comparison function probably looks like this:
