  • so wer jetzt ihn nicht versteht hat eines an der waffel ;) allahu akbar

  • How can you kill a cartoon charakter?

  • Well, this is what the Sheihk is talking about.

How absurd and silly it is to accuse him of demanding to kill a cartoon character, while his main topic during a tv program was the islamic view on harmful animals as for example mice and rats...

  • But in the video, he is referring to, he says: "Mickey Mouse has to be killed." or something like that.

  • Have you really watched the video and understood what the Sheikh says? He explains that what he said was misrepresented and not correctly translated by the media. He also says that he talked about the influence of media and characters on the family and children relating to harmful animals as for example mice.

Therefore he also mentionned Mickey Mouse in his program.

  • But the media exaggerated and ridiculed the whole issue. They wanted to make the people believe that he made a fatwa (legal pronouncement in Islam) to kill Mickey Mouse. But, as he also says in the video, no reasonable person would say such a thing.

  • Are you sure, that he was translated wrong.

By the way: Why has Allah created "harmful" animals, in the first place?

  • It is obviously that what he says is logical. And his arguments are reasonable.

It is well known and nothing new that the media exaggerate and misrepresent things and search for sensations.

  • Of course it is much more sensationally to broadcast the "news" that a Sheikh demands that "Mickey Mouse has to die", instead of the fact that a Sheikh talks about harmful animals as mice and rats and proves that it is correct and the truth, what Islam said 1400 years ago. See the realted links in the description to

some factual websites about this issue.

  • Do you believe in God (in arabic Allah)?

We can not talk about what God did and why He did it, if you even do not believe in God. And it is much more important to know Who God is and why he has created YOU and all humans, before discussing why he has created animals or even harmful animals.

Here is a very informative site on this topic:

    GottAllahdotde

    Or in English:

    GodAllahdotcom

  • Well, because I do not speak Arabic, I can not say, what the Sheikh has said in reality.

P.S.: I started to read the Qu´ran, but sorry, it very hard to read for me and very mysterious.

  • Well, you may not be able to understand what he says in Arabic, but you hear now what he says in English and how he says it. Therefore you can judge with the help of your mind and intelligence. You hear his arguments and get to know his opinion of this issue from himself.

  • It is a very good thing to read the Quran. By reading it you can form your own view on it. Maybe it is hard to read for you and "mysterious" because of the translation. Do you know the author of the translation of the near meaning of the Quran you read?

The translation should be done by a Muslim. Some persons translate the Quran not correctly to mislead the people.

Here is a link to very good translations of the near meaning of the Quran:

  • I see from your channel that you are in Germany, so here are links to German sites with a lot of lectures about the true Islam:

    And here an English site:

  • But what is he saying here? For me he just beats about the bush by talking about Islam in general and a little bit about harmful animals, but not much about his relationship to Mickey Mouse.

  • If you have expected that he would talk about his "realtionship to Mickey Mouse" by telling whether he watches it and thinks Mickey Mouse is cute or not, well, as I told you, in fact his topic was not Mickey Mouse.

The media made an issue out of it and centered Mickey Mouse.

And by the way, I prefer Donald Duck, maybe the Sheikh too? ;-D

  • Yes, maybe. Funny comment about Donald Duck, indeed.
