@VAvampire Yeah i think i know what you mean. The recording of those fast triplet rolls sound really deep and bassy, like the bass pedal was used in some way. But most likely it's just a straight roll on the toms. Because my Toms aren't as deep as that, to get it sounding nice i play the triplet rolls like: Snare-tom-bass.... tom-tom-bass... snare-tom-bass...tom-tom-bass Obviously together in a smooth motion and remembering to keep in time (triplets). See fills in "Assassin" by Muse to hear it

Further to my last comment it sounds like you have pretty much nailed it completely, at that speed its very hard to to tell if some hits are floor tom or bass drum but the way you play it sounds right. You have the same sort of desire to get every note right that I have when learning songs, you would make a great teacher too.

once u get it, start playing faster, bit by bit.

i can now play it good but i keep fucking up on the 3rd part i cant move my hands right they keep spasing out beause its fucking impossible. i can do it slow but when i try to build it up to go faster, i cant, i just freak out. i cant memorize the 3rd part.

hahaha. just keep trying. one thing that might help a lot is to try the next day. usually, when you sleep you memorize the stuff you've been doing all day. it usually gets easier.
