I'm best at using fast people, such as Wolf or Meta Knight. My friends say I'm good with people who use swords, since I can use Link, Toon Link and Meta Knight really easily, but I'm a complete failure when using Ike or Marth so I guess that statement might not be true.

You found Ike's fatal flaw. If he hits a person shielding on the edge of the stage while doing his combo he will be pushed off the cliff to his death.

I used pit but switched to Ike later. I FTW. Pit is either a cheep noob chractor a fair player if you use him right. You can fight with pit the same way you fight with Metaknight only he is not half as good.

if you want to be rly good i think ike is not the right choice ... only his jump back hit is fast. if all attacks are too slow you can evade them all and hit him very easy. but hey ^^ i think not much people want to be a ''pro'' so ike is good ^^

My first brawl was with Meta Knight versus a Level 9 Lucario. Kick it's ass. My first competetive brawl was at a Tournoment. I got 3rd place by only using Meta Knight. I lost to Peach. It was a good match though. My opponet said I'm quite good.

Then it is impossible for you to play Marth with your first brawl. He is not one of the starter characters. Unless you didn't touch your wii, when you got ssbb and your sister played until she got marth.

To tell you the truth, you did pretty good considering it was your first time. Your sister is pretty good with Fox, and your good with Ike and Meta Knight (a little). My first time I used Zelda and Kirby. And I sucked. Big time. I abused Kirby's Rock move (its just so fun squashing ppl :P). After I learned the controls, I got better. Now, I'm pretty good (maybe not as good as you. Or maybe I am. We'll never know unless we fight). I dont get why ppl dont use Zelda. She is a VERY powerful person.

No you don't, the Wii itself has four Nintendo Gamecube Controller sockets located at the top of the system. (They're under a hidden door thing, hard to explain.) It also has Two Nintendo Gamecube Memory Card slots, located under a second, smaller, hidden door near the Controller Ports.

meh u didnt suck like u said u did,especially if u were using the wiimote without the nunchuck. the controls are a little slower and more touchy from melee from what i noticed (i use the GCN controller). i won my first match against my brother with Ike when we got this game, i usually lose cuase he's freakin good with samus. ike's my best character now ^^

Oh wow, a shut out. No wonder your sis said she'll never use Link again. It's so weird watching you guys play with items. The people I play with never use them. They'd rather people fight each other than fight to get an item. I say, it's a game and supposed to be fun and it's not worth taking it that seriously, especially when they don't comepete in tournaments. If they competed, that'd be different but we don't even play outside our friend group! Ah well, it's the only way I get to play.

the gameplay is almost identical to melee with beefed up graphics a longer adventure mode strange all-stars and some different veteran moves but gameplay other than smash ball and dragoon. is almost identical to melee.
