  • 速くて安全かつ正確。

    技術者も凄いが操り手も凄いのだ。

  • That isn't 300mph.

  • Awesome!

  • Series 500 I think are the nicest-looking of all the Shinkansen trains.

  • POLACY!!! UCIEKAĆ BO PRZYPIERDOLI !!!

  • is that a shinkansen from gaogaigar?

  • @dliondndn おおおー! よく気づいた! haha you realized that? yes that train machine was inspired from Nozomi. If you have a chance to watch other animation not only gaogaigar, you will see other types (older version) of Shinkansen (Brett Train) too.

  • @lvglvglvg1 the word is 'Bullet Train' (「銃弾」を英語に直訳した単語) , not Brett Train.

Although a Brett Train zipping around the Japanese countryside might be an interesting sight to see...

  • @silentplummet oop... my mistake hehe. actually a friend of mine responded exact same thing what you said haha..... bullet bulletっと。。。 気をつけなきゃ・・・

  • Super !

  • ale zapierdala!!

  • only 1 thing to say... did anyone get the engine #? :P ;) lol

  • 日本の誇り!Pride of Japan!

  • 25 meters in full length vehicles are 16 sets.

    It passes in 4 seconds…

  • we need these in India

  • @terran97 People are going to be holding on tight to the side of these trains at 300km/h if they ever get there.

  • Its not That fast

  • this is not 300km

  • i wanna put coins on the rails

  • it's like that the italia !!

  • @will101page gookish eurofag

  • @sijotakane "googish Eurofag"? lol, Im british you fucking stupid oriental chink! (Joking, i have many asian friends!) ;)

  • @will101page That's because you didn't even try the japanese Shinkansen.

  • They don't go 300 through stations. They have to slow way down to 100.

  • @johnsonm3012 lol

  • @johnsonm3012 I bet the Acela does that, but not high speed trains.

European and Japanese High speed trains has "overtake lines in stations" so they can go through stations at high speed as those lines are placed beside a line which a train is supposed to stop, so it's far from platforms.

Safety isn´t compromised as the japanese shinkansen has 0 fatalities since it´s launch in 1964.

  • We Americans aren't dumb, we've given the world a lot of great things in the fields of medicine, science, technology, etc. The thing is is that we've had it too easy for far too long of a time. Our push-button, throw-away society lulled us into the sense of "we're the best, fuck everyone else, if you don't like it, we'll invade you, your teeth are bad, you smell" which led a once great nation to, well, Snooki and financial collapse. Give us time, maybe we'll recover and do things right again.

  • @CzechDetectingChap The way its going, it will be pretty darn difficult to turn around for america....Your policies need to change, or else your $15 debt will keep climbing and soon you guys maybe on the roads.

  • @Geek198155 Do you speak English?

  • i blinked and missed it :/

  • Eita porra

  • America can definitely does this..........but we have to stop being gay

  • looks deadly as hell..

  • In Japan, people are rarely aware of speed but they care much more of its punctuality, the signal and earthquake warning system including urgent earthquake detection and alarm system. The Shinkansen's average arrival time can be within one second of the scheduled time. It also has advanced track to reduce vibration and noise. When I take the Shinkansen, I feel like that I'm doing ice skating. For the Japanese, all these factors are important to measure its high speed railway technology.

  • @harukaamaji

hai boku wa sansei da hayasa kore wa ichi ban taisetsuna koto jya nai. mani au koto da shi andzen wa ichi ban taisetsu da

  • @harukaamaji to the second? Wow. I drive trains in a simulator, and even getting a train to stop at a station within 30 seconds of it's scheduled time is incredibly difficult. And that's without anything going wrong along the way... I'm sure it can be done, but it must take some impressive coordination.

  • Comment removed

  • @KuraIthys If the Shinkansen delays 30 seconds, train staff apologises with an announcement. Punctuality is extremely important in Japan due to a large number of earthquakes everyday. The train (UrEDAS) detects earthquake and stops from few minutes to seconds before earthquake happens. If the train delays 30 seconds to stop, you can easily imagine what will happen when earthquake and tsunami hit. People consider high speed only when the train brings quick aid to victimes of natural disaster

  • @harukaamaji I can see why it would be important, I'm just curious how the train drivers manage it. They're either very skilled, or they have a lot of technological aids to help them stop reliably.

  • @KuraIthys I don't know in details because I'm not a train driver. But I think that computer is controlling the system. But anyway, the most important system is Urgent Earthquake Detection and Alarm System but not high speed in Japan. It catches the P wave and detects the scale of Magnitude, and then the Shinkansen speeds down and stops before earthquake occurs.

  • @harukaamaji Ah. OK. Stopping really quickly isn't that big of a problem as such. What I meant was stopping quickly and at a precise spot is difficult. (Such as at a train station.). If it doesn't matter where the train ends up stopping it's not so difficult.

  • @KuraIthys To your knowledge, the shinkansen have a record of a year's punctuality of all the trains, an average of 6 seconds of delay

  • It's speed but ugly.

  • incredible!

  • The united states would do so much better with high speed trains... Lots of space!

Technology is allowing 574km/h rail speeds. If america was fitted with high speeds rail, everyone would use this over flying, because the airport is such a freaking hassle.

  • @sonicfan7 also dont forgot japan is only a small country they dont need anything faster than what they have now, just more efficient/faster fastest accelerating/braking thats how time is saved not just top speed

  • omfg O.O

  • JEBANY !:D

  • how can poor japanese people pile on the roof of that when its going so fast?

  • I think it would be better if Amtrak become more passenger friendly like Shinkansen.

  • WOW, I saw a naked woman in 4th car 3rd window back !!

  • These Japanese trains are absolutely beautiful.

  • >Not buying N700/Hayabusa series or any other JR models for your country's infastructure or not hiring JR specialists to help you build high speed rails with secure fasceners/sensors

    >Corruption and general waste/delay preventing high speed rail projects

I seriously hope you don't do this

  • I find the pantographs of these trains quite unique; they look more like bow collectors that stay perfectly vertical and move up and down vertically with the height of the wire rather than the standard jointed pantograph.

  • JR Shinkannsen became to pass staitions by 300 km/h because they developed a crossing which is enough to endure for commercial use by 300km/h every day.

  • Are you sure it is 300? I'm just asking because some high velocity trains usually slow down a bit passing by stations...

  • @MkM47 I'll give you a list of the shinkansen 500 series passing on Sanyo Shinkansen line.East to West.

    All speeds in Km/h.

    Shin-Osaka= Stops. Shin-Kobe=Stops (Back in 2001 @ 230km/h) Nishi-Akashi=275, Himeji=300, Aioi=300, Okayama=Stops. Shin-Kurashiki=300, Fukuyama=275, Shin-Onomichi=300, Mihara=275, HigashiHiroshima=300, Hiroshima=Stops, Shin-Iwakuni=300, Tokuyama=170, Shin-Yamaguchi=275, Asa=300, Shin-Shimonoseki=275, Kokura=stops and Hakata=stops. That's it ^_^

  • @AF401 IF so, TGV is even faster....

They are planning to to Paris - Strasbourg on 420KM/h and even looking into for 480, which is Cazy, and on top of that all high speed lines which were already suitable for 350km/h may be upgraded to 390 or or 420.

TGV is doing great as well ;D

  • @sonicfan7 yeah, but speed is nothing without safety.

The japanese Shinkansen can't go faster for the reason of many factors, such as noise restriction which can't go beyond 70db running @ it's top cruise speed, then earthquakes in Japan takes place quite often so how quick they're able to stop linked the UrEDAS warning system with ATC, and so on goes the list

  • @sonicfan7 The TGV might be faster, but what are the train frequencies? On the Tokaido Shinkansen, up to 323 trains run per day with headways as low as three minutes. May I also ask where you got the information about 420km/h or 480km/h operating speeds? Most HSR systems in the world only go up to 300km/h or 320km/h because of safety concerns. I've only heard of 380km/h operating speed in China, and they lowered it to 300km/h b/c of their recent HSR collision.

  • Amazing...japanese trains r the best!

  • ooohhhhh man 240p...

  • L0L

  • Wonderful to look at but I imagine horrible to live near - sounds like a jet plane.

  • @xr6lad no, actually passing @ 300km/h doesn't go higher than 70db that's the limit of the Shinkansen

  • magnifique train

  • 新幹線ってこんな早かったっけ…

  • Fuck, I was wearing headphones at highest volume.

  • @CaptainEagle09 hahahaha... shit!

  • wow, i remember when the video only had a couple thousand views. hehe

  • I do like to see a really useful engine puffing down the branch line. Peep, Peep!

  • We in Germany have high-speed trains with 300 km/h too :)

  • @TRR2014 we in America, we have landed on the moon >:P

  • @TRR2014

Also here in Italy, and France, and Spain, and Belgium, and Holland, and UK...and South Korea, and China...and Taiwan...and Turkey....high speed rails today work in a lot of Countries... :)

  • @TRR2014 They in Japan have high speed trains that run over 580km/h!

  • @DarthChrisB 0.0

  • @DarthChrisB That's the Chuo Shinkansen, but it will not be able for pax traffic until 2020-2022 and it will only run between Tokyo and Osaka

  • America can't do this because we're gay

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC

The frustration is understood, but we can do it. We simply never prioritized high-speed rail as a necessity. There is the Acela on the east coast, but its utilization is nowhere near it's real potential. It 'can' do 240kph, but spends most of its time between 130-150.

As a California native I'm anxious to see how our eventual HSR system turns out, if the idiots in Sacramento can get their heads out from inside their backsides and realize the concept of balancing a budget...

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC I bet Japan can't do Space Shuttle things, I am Japanese tho.

  • @greata7x Japan has a space program ; )

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC American can't do this because we refuse to fund these sort of projects, because the airlines and their money hold more sway. This sort of train would work very well in California, in the Midwest near Chicago, and throughout the Eastern Seaboard. It would work well in Texas to. A certain political party and the airline corporations fight against the funding this would need.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC a mess

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC

no you can't cause the gay tea party would call it "socialist"

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC eh lol. This was actually the train proposed to replace the acela. The manufaturer claimed it could connect Washington DC and NYC in what 30 minutes or something like that. With the way Air Travel has been tanking people are looking back to the train and we either need to create our own high speed trainsets or adopt one like this.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC Yes we are and we also like to sniff fossil fuel all day because apparently most of us get a high off of it.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC : No, it's because our railroads are too busy moving containers of Chinese made toilet paper to our local Wal*mart stores. We'd rather get groped by TSA agents and get herded into commuter jets now being used for cross-country flights than board a train. Amtrak stations being pretty much consistently put in the worst part of town (rather, the worst part of town growing around Amtrak stations) doesn't help.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC and i thought cause u are bankrupt years now ...

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC or we just got into the highway system and freight train system more?

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC hey, u re wrong, the only american gay fags are government ones, they invest more in useless weaponry to kill thousands of people around the world without a reason in some cases, so instead of killing innocent people of poor 3rd worldist countries, they should invest in a more flexible transport system

  • @ReapeR8LMS gayverment fags. lulz

  • @ReapeR8LMS California is going ot build a hsr system to. unless the over conservative fags floor that project.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC That's homophobic. Not to mention the French do this and they are all gay. America doesn't do it because you're either pansies, cheap stakes or both :P

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC Relax GAY)))) You have best Airliners in yhe World for passengers - Like B 777 0r B 787...

Do you realy nead such trains?

  • @MrShepelev1976 I really dont know about all of that. BUT, you really need to learn to SPELL !!

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC America can't do this because not only that, but our economy's fucked, too.

  • @LNERMallard so Japan's is safe?

  • @mahlithebest Extremely safe. Excellent record.

  • @JET997u @JET997u You Americans are such imbeciles... You mustn't have seen the tsunami and then the nuclear disaster... costing trillions to put right... what fucking planet are you on bro?

  • @mahlithebest What makes you think I'm American? So who's the imbecile now, bro?

  • @JET997u . . .and to answer your question as to who is the imbecile now, bro? Elementary, my dear Watson, it is YOU!

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC No, Americans can't do this because we're FAT and STOOPID.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC In your defence your country is 26 times the size of Japan, which does make trains a rather more expensive proposition, and if you want to feel less gay about your country's engineering I hear you guys are rather well known for your passenger jets.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC So very true.

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC The main problem with America is that it is a very huge country and it will be very expensive to build High speed trains.

Europe and Japan could do it coz they are small countries.

China is doing it, yes it is an exception, since americans are retards (as they are borrowing money from China to fight wars, meanwhile China builds its infrastructure from the interest it earns, he he..)

Moral of the story still is that America is dumb (only its founders were smart!).

  • @Geek198155

High speed rail makes sense to connect major cities on the east and west coast, but there is no way a train from New York to Los Angeles could compete with the plane and the cost to build a high speed line would be too much.

  • it is the most longest bullet i've ever seen !! : o

  • President Obama saw this video and said "I want that!"

The GOP saw this and said "Oh, Hell No!"

  • どうだ、参ったか!

    これが本家本元の新幹線じゃ。

  • der war verdammt lang :O

  • Population density is very high in Japan (and it isnt that big a country), so these systems become more cost-effective. Trying to deploy high-speed trains across the relatively sparsely populated North America would be a logistical nightmare.

  • @darthbandon10 It would be unless we used a hybrid electric & fuel cell system. In city limits, go purely on the grid. Once you're outside of city limits switch over to the fuel cells, it would take a lot of R&D, but it'd be worth it IMO.

  • @loveunderlaw Perhaps a good Maglev system would be viable, but the question is who would provide the initial investment? The political talk in the US right now is all about budget cutting...

  • @darthbandon10 You know we would have the funds to upgrade our transportation, & road infrastructure in the USA, if it weren't for greedy corporate, & political "leaders" only looking out for themselves. Not to mention, we've been involved with these retarded wars since 9/11, with no sign of an end in sight. It's disgusting, we need to bring our troops home, & put the money back into OUR economy for a change. Let the World govern it's own affairs for a change. I've had it with all their schemes!

  • @loveunderlaw No disagreement from me there, but I'm not in charge and I have no voting rights in the US, so there's not much I can do about it.

  • @darthbandon10 Well hopefully people here will demand to bring the soldiers back home now, it's been long enough. It's not like the War, & Energy barons don't have enough money now.

  • The Station knows that feels good...

  • lavna ara havesov knstei

  • The Frech TGV is faster than this train, but not only faster, the Shinkansen need it ouwn track, onlike the TGV that run in regular track and do 574Kph.

if you ask me, i think the TGV is faster and better since you dont need to build spacial track.

  • @elvismen TGV also need an own track, look up LGV!

  • @elvismen Suggest that you check your facts and then come back and apologise for posting incorrect information. TGV works well but the Shinkansen system is better overall if you take into account efficiency, safety (running since 1964 with no fatal accidents), frequency, service etc.

  • @elvismen I think that shinkansen Is much better than the TGV for puctuality, safety, comfort, acceleration, etc.

PS: Shinkansen rails are standard gauges, like the TGV.

The V150 did run only once @ 574.8km/h on 2007, modified, with raised voltage from 25kv to 31kv, prepared rail and catenary system to deal up to 600km/h etc etc etc...

  • fastest UK train is 40mph and breaks down before it finishes its journey.

  • Concorde on rail.

  • i cant wait till i go to japan in august i'm gonna get to ride in one of these right out of tokyo :)

  • chinese trains are faster...

  • @SC2Slyphen the facts would seem to indicate that you are wrong, troll

  • @soulevs um... the facts seems to indicate that im right... chinese trains usually operates at 330-380km/h

  • @SC2Slyphen and tell me good sir, where is the fastest train located, the one which holds the land speed record?

yeah, continue acting like you know things. see how that works out

  • @soulevs the fastest train using conventional rail is the French V150 a record speed of 574.8km/h however it is heavily modified and is not commercial viable. the fastest commercial train is the Chinese CRH380 with a speed record of 486.1km/h. the world's fastest train is the MLX01 at a speed of 581km/h a prototype maglev back in 2003. however the world's only commercial maglev reside in Shanghai China traveling at a max speed of 431km/h

    Lawyered...

  • @SC2Slyphen how i met your mother.... awesome show

anywho, Im no train expert, not gonna pretend to be. but the maglev is famous in japan, and regardless of whether it uses conventional rails or not, it is still the fastest train in the world. your statement was that china has faster trains, not faster commercial or traditional train.

if youre gonna play the fine print game, at least play it right

  • @soulevs i left that comment for this video and not for the MLX01 video for a reason...

  • @SC2Slyphen ya now you say that after you get creamed

    jackass

  • @soulevs i been saying that, you just assumed i said something else. stop being a moron

  • @SC2Slyphen Indeed chinese train are faster in operation. However recent fiscal adjustment require train to slow down to 300 km/h with more station added in express route.

  • @Danielyeoh5885 train will continue their top speed going through stations, they have their own independent rail even passing though a station, you can see it in a lot of pass-by vids

  • @SC2Slyphen Yes I do know about that. But the recent news I heard from Wuhan route had its speed reduce and will have more stops than previous plan. Also a Debit of 2 trillion yuan exist in CRH company had occur. Could this mean a reduction on scale of high speed project.

  • Goddamn!

  • Beautiful streamliner shape

  • itu ppka nya kemana ya? apa udah terbang melayang?

  • that didnt seem so fast lol

  • damn gppd speed

  • dayum

  • 500 series is not express any more. Express line is already replaced by 700 series. 500 series is used only for the local line and be waiting for the retirement.

  • f*** i blinked!

  • beautiful

  • It's quite fascinating to see Americans saying that they do not yet have a high speed line, I find this to be very surprising, because due to the size of your country it would make a huge amount of sense to do it. And considering you have the wealth to do so puzzles me even more. Over here in England we have a high speed line up and running and are planning on creating a second, considering we are a small nation do we really need these high speed trains?

  • @Tornado922 Japan doesnt have dumb drivers which are going directly in the path of the train. :P

  • thats not 300 km/h

    LOL

  • @megadave1994 Ok, it's 301 then lol xDD

  • US will never have these high speed bullet trains. It will be a disaster to the greedy Oil and Airline industries.

  • Damn that was fast!

  • The german ICE looks way better.

  • I agree with everybody else as to why America does not have high speed rail to more places. We have so many unused tracks in MANY places in this country that just lay there to rot. For example the area I used to live in used to be one of the main transit hubs in the entire Northeast, now its a mere ghost of what it used to be. All these rails all over the place with nothing active on them.

America should utilize trains like Japan does.

  • shinkansen can predict any earthquake before it happens.so, no one get hurt.

  • I'm a Japanese boy :D

We,the Japanese love our bullet train!

I feel as I were in the plane when I'm riding the bullet train

  • id like to trainride this thing...

  • not so fast.. i can run faster than this train

  • The Japanese Shinkansen is the rapid transit railway which has been already finished in the 1960s, and, in this country, anyone is easily available as a means of transportation same as a general subway.

  • Japan ! ;)

  • Was there a train in this video?

  • whoops...... Sorry bBeber i just had to push you in front of the train
