Does anyone honestly think ACORN truly wants to reform the poor, black community and lift up the economic status of these areas? Of course not! They may say they do, but if poor communities across the country became middle-class and thriving, ACORN would effectively become irrelevant.

A leading ACORN woman actually said in a debate with Sean Hannity not long ago that we have a right to a house. Lol

ACORN should rename itself to Marxist Assholes Who Like to Enable Poor Black Folks to Stay Welfare-Dependent Rather Than Becoming Self-Sufficient.

I remember this. This was a big issue of discussion on my campus (University of Missouri). Personally, I was all for it. Affirmative action is a joke! It does NOT lift up the black community as a whole, for one thing. It just helps INDIVIDUAL blacks. But if you're a black, and you take advantage of all the opportunities, and you get a degree, and you're qualified, why do you need racial preferences to be able to compete against a white guy for a job? Answer: You don't!
