You're trying too hard. Brad Wilk's genius comes from his simplicity and ability to fucking groove, not show-off. Snare and cymbals sound great. Toms are too tight. Or, if you're going to have them that tight, try o-rings or dampen them with tape so that they dont ring so badly.
