Hi, Ty for this video. I too had the exact same issues as you with this sweater! I had the wierd holes in the same places as you did, and I also had arms that were too skinny!!! Did you ever figure out what you were doing wrong? I would love to know so I can attempt this again and get it right. Thanks. It's an adorable set by the way :)
@2414kellygirl I made another sweater for niece after this one. I learned that if I actually wrote down the number of rows I needed for the project and checked them off as they were completed the sweater turned out way better. The holes underneath the sleeves are part of the pattern. But if you keep track of the stitches I think you will agree you have a neater project. On this last try I had no issues with the sleeves. I think the key is to be organized. Hope this helps!
Just keep practicing you'll get it. I love to see results so that is what fuels me to want to make something that I can use or give to someone who will appreciate it. Don't give up. Looking forward to see some of your work!
Also Laura... you did a super great job... I love how you took it further and are creating an outfit using many tutorials to guide you... SOme people ask me for 1 tutorial to cover all items of an outfit ensemble. :) I would like to link to this video as a testimonial on my webpage. You can let me know at your convenience.

Great video, great job.
I am still doing crochet swatches lol
I don't feel confident to do anything but just practice, make a swatch and pull it all apart and do it over, and over.
