  • the next time i see a sculpture i will know how much time and effort went in to it dmn!.

    Nice work my friend,

    Erik

  • finally someone it's using his hands, normally everybody use those big tools machines but not you, outstanding job

  • you have amazing tools! good sculpture!

  • I was watching modern marvels, the episode was on stones. I logged in on youtube and typed, "marble carving," and came across your vid. I love it, your video is, in a weird way, very peaceful and relaxing. There is something about not incorporating any music and voice in the video that makes it very soothing. It's just so nice to hear nature. Very good video.

  • It looks like the most skillful use of a full set of tools; yet the theme seems to be lacking in some kind of romance or mystery. My work suffers in both of these categories; but one might hope and practice. It’s an art such fun after all.

  • this video is very helping me about using pneumatic tools on carving stone, thanks man.

  • thank you very much for your advice and taking the time to help! I'll try that.

  • Hello, thanks for video (what was that lovely bird?) Can you tell me what disc to use in my angle grinder (stone or diamond cut) for hollowing out a bird bath in Portland Stone, I've got as much as I can out by hand but don't want to stress the stone further so thought to grind off some more of the bowl by 'sanding' off with a/g.

  • @sheilamaclean1 Thanks for watching my video. I would suggest using a masonry carborundom grinding disc that you can find at any hardware store. They usually cost about $4 each. Good luck with your carving.

  • hey this is really interesting and educational thanks!

  • marble can be expensive yes? may i ask how much u payed for your slab? what if this slab came from Carrara about how much would it be ?

  • Really inspiring, more of these videos would be a great treat during the day. What type of marble is it?

  • @DEUCHONMANDIC

Thanks for watching the video. The stone I was carving is Colorado marble. And I do plan to add some more videos in the future.

  • Tx for sharing Mark - well done!

  • Cool vid. Thanks!
