  • i thought those things were limited to 250 km/h....... lol so its like clarkson says thn...... they dont limit the top speed bcause of the environment, they limit it bcause if they dont they'll hav to put in btter suspension, better brakes... n tht wld make the thing very very expensive...... so if they already hav the stuff in the car, they dont bother limiting it..... dumb germans!!

  • they all are limited to 250km/h but you can take out that limitator...the next one will be at 307-308 km/h...if you take out that one too, you can see how much it can go.

    Yes...mine has the same...becuase if you want to go faster ypu will need better parts (tyres etc) than the ones on stock...when i removed my limiter they told me about this

    It was an agreement to enviromental reasons they limited its nothing to do with what the car can handle.

  • You have no idea, how it's done..

    AMG is a official tuner of Mercedes-Benz.

    The stock-mercs are limited to 250, but the AMG mercs are luxury sportscars with a better break-system, a better (or only tuned) engine, optimized interior and removed limiter.

    If you compare normal mercs to the AMG ones, you'll notice the even higher price.

    The limiting of the stock vehicles is only done for the safety of the driver. When you buy an AMG, you await a not limited and very luxury car and it's what ya get
