Whats the definition of a power chord??

I've defined a power chord as a 5 chord with an octaved bass. A 5 chord is a chord played with the 5th note above itself (e.g.) Layla is in Dm, so you'd play a D and an A note. The power chord version for Layla is G A and G(octave). To play the bar chord D minor is to play, going from Low to high Es, G A G(octave) F A(octave) G(double octave)

i got my "black V model Ibanez acoustic from guitar center back in 2004 and it was like 250 bucks with out the hard case..the case was like 135, i got it all for around 450, but you can find my same guitar on ebay for 150 bucks now,lol i like ibanez, not as costly as guild or gibson, but has a really good sound just like the bigger named brands

free tab on the web is often inaccurate, it's very easy to learn when someone plays the tab as your going so you know instantly that the tab is for real, and you keep trying despite your mistakes, knowing it's you and not the tab. Not all of us are experts, and could use the extra help.
