I wonder what the structure it is. Does it have bracings or something beneath the top? How thick is the brass? It's so interesting looking and sound. Thanks for showing the unique guitar.
Personally monsieurhassan I think the earliest blues is the best place to start. It teaches you a lot about the form of good blues and teaches a rhythmic approach that will help in the future if you decide to diversify into other blues styles. It also has some unusual styles that turn the blues form on its head and promote original thinking towards how you play the guitar.
very nice . .. hey I've been guitar for a while .. . but never really got too much into the blues . .. can you please tell me where to start learning?
Nice Liberty! I bought a Liberty LO100 from Bill Blue early this year, and I love it; I love the tone, I love the chrome (nickel actually), and I'm not sure how your neck is, but mine is flat and wide and perfect for slide playing.
Compliments on your playing. It was a real treat. Thanks for sharing your video with us.
Your guitar? Well, I must say that You chose a fine instrument, but I probably wouldn't post any more videos with it. You'll just make the rest of us jealous.
Pretty guitar/resonator hybrid ..beautifull playing with energy♪

Yeah I was thinking that, if it's strong metal surely it doesn't need bracing?

dude ya just got feel a rule book can't tell how to get the blues
fragellin 3 years ago
oh for sure.
same for any kind of music really, but i think musicly blues goes alot more into the soul.
basically you can never REALLY play the blues, unless youve had/got the blues.
im jus looking into different blues players and styles.
keep it real folks!

what make/model is this guitar?
xynaxis 4 years ago
It's made by Liberty Guitars. It doesn't have a model- it was a prototype. It's one of his brass-top resonators without a resonator.
