Dammit I managed with half an hour practise (and soo many hours on other speedruns) to get it down to 9 seconds, but those last 2 seconds off are a pain in the ass!! it's so difficult to shoot perfect, you shoot but you dont see where the portal is, and everyhting in your run is so perfect,,,,, mind=blown!!

There is a way to slow down the game, but that requires you to put sv_cheats on. When you put it on, even if you don't use any cheats, it will say "cheater" when you finish the chamber. It is possible that Mdolejsi altered the Portal files though.

if you slow down time using a console command, it will also COUNT slower. You can play for 5 minutes, and the game will count only a few seconds. That explains why it shows 7 sec.
