@390merc65 Besides one thing I used to like about ford is about there interior features and their car blutooth the rest itself wasn't good the engine is fine I don't have nothing against diesel but there has some truth on Ford you just never found out I was a fan of ford back in the mid 2000's I owned a Ford F150 single cab currently the engine has overheated multiple amount of times this truck was brand new and the engine catched on fire on 107F my Tacoma does not have any troubles unlike FORD.

Ford does not give many mileage which is the main problem of the cars that fuck up daily I spent $20,000 fixing my Ford Escort I sold it and bought my self a brand new Toyota Tacoma 2009 which gave me no problems at all. I also own a 1998 Camaro which is also a great car that I love you can't prove me wrong here these cars are way better then Ford as you can see.

im confused by the positive feedback for ford. if you look at the sierra and silverado sales combined (theyre the same truck) they were slightly ahead of f series in 06 and way ahead in 07. not only that, but gm sales went up as ford sales went down :/
Chevy is known for being a lot stronger built then GMC. I don't know about today, but this was true in there older models. GMC had trouble with frame cracking, Chevy's didn't.

GMC and Chevrolet are considered two different brands. Ford doesn't combine the sales numbers of the F-Series and the Lincoln Mark LT. So, yes, the Ford F-Series is the best-selling line of full-size pickups for 32 years running.
GMC and Chevrolet ARE the same thing. I work on them all the time. There is a couple differences like trim options and the way the lights look but other than that all you do is swap the grill and tailgate. It doesn't matter as long as you know that imports suck.

my father worked for gm as the head mechanic in Las Vegas for many years but about 4 years ago he quite working for them he said they had to many issues and he was tired of fixing there crap and people buy gmc for a reason just like people buy chevy for a reason meaning there not the same truck.
Ford's are great vehicles if you know how to take care of them. I have never had a problem with any Ford I have owned and I love my current F150 FX4. No problems and everyone that's ever been in it has loved it. However every person I know who has a Dodge has had nothing but problems. I've driven a Dodge and they are okay trucks but they can not compete with any other maker of trucks. Tundra's are nice too but they just don't have a whole lot of power and have cheap interiors. Just my opinion.

Well, I agree with you. I love my chevys but my fords were extremely unreliable. I had a super duty and an expedition. Both were outright junk. I could tell you about all the problems but that would take to long. Personally I would not care if ford went under. Ford is alot closer than most people think. We got to remember that ford has been lossing money far longer than GM or Chrysler, and usually in larger amounts. It is incredible that Ford is still around.
my 2004 expo has about 115,000 mi and i have had no problems what so ever, and we have driven it hard. It just all depends on how you take care of it.

@390merc65 Besides one thing I used to like about ford is about there interior features and their car blutooth the rest itself wasn't good the engine is fine I don't have nothing against diesel but there has some truth on Ford you just never found out I was a fan of ford back in the mid 2000's I owned a Ford F150 single cab currently the engine has overheated multiple amount of times this truck was brand new and the engine catched on fire on 107F my Tacoma does not have any troubles unlike FORD.

GMC and Chevrolet ARE the same thing. I work on them all the time. There is a couple differences like trim options and the way the lights look but other than that all you do is swap the grill and tailgate. It doesn't matter as long as you know that imports suck.

Ford's are great vehicles if you know how to take care of them. I have never had a problem with any Ford I have owned and I love my current F150 FX4. No problems and everyone that's ever been in it has loved it. However every person I know who has a Dodge has had nothing but problems. I've driven a Dodge and they are okay trucks but they can not compete with any other maker of trucks. Tundra's are nice too but they just don't have a whole lot of power and have cheap interiors. Just my opinion.

That's exactly what you say! Ford's are excellent if you maintain correctly them. In my family, we have owned VW's, Audis, GMs, Land Rover and a Corolla. The only Ford we bought it's still in fantastic condition both mechanically and exterior, and, my God, I swear, we haven't even changed a single screw from '79 and with 200.000 miles on the clock

Well, I agree with you. I love my chevys but my fords were extremely unreliable. I had a super duty and an expedition. Both were outright junk. I could tell you about all the problems but that would take to long. Personally I would not care if ford went under. Ford is alot closer than most people think. We got to remember that ford has been lossing money far longer than GM or Chrysler, and usually in larger amounts. It is incredible that Ford is still around.

Actually Ford isn't doing nearly as bad as GM or Chrysler. I wouldn't say Ford is struggling in the least, at least not right now they aren't. Also, nothing about the way any car company runs their finances speaks anything about their quality. combine chevy silverado and gmc sierra, they sell way more than ford, i have a 2005 gmc sierra 2500hd and i know some one with a 2005 chevy silverado 2500hd, the only difference is the body, and my dad prefered the gmc body over the chevy style, so if they went by GM, Gm would knock ford down easy
