Now that we have this new oil spill in the Gulf, I began to wonder why do we still have this big push to drill baby drill. What happend to the dream of alternet energy sourses and electric cars. The price of gas is still going up, the cost of mass transit is increasing. I am so glad to have seen this video. The flat earther mentality is what killed the electric car. The chant now is spill baby spill.

Now, we need to catch up to where we were 10 years ago with the EV-1. Lucky for them, GM has been saved and can now try to make electric cars a reality -- "for the third goddam time!"
I remember I was 13 when the electric car came out in '96, I was like, FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! But as years went on I wondered, WTF happened? What's going on, my dad was spending thousands of dollars on maintenace for gas powered cars and I was so eager to have an electric car, a clean driveway and feel like we were actually making a change.
But oh well, if this economic crisis doesn't wake us up and we post-pone change... I really think this will be IT and it'll only get worse.
