Before any of criticize go see them on concert this video doesn't do them justice until I did last year I wouldn't call this band the Beach Boys I was saying the same thing you guys were hang it up Mike. I no longer say that and these guys I now call them the beach Boys because they earned it!

I also don't get all this bashing Mike, Bruce and the new Beach Boys band they are doing an awesome job continuing the music. That is exactly how Carl and Dennis would have wanted it. And no the original Beach Boys on stage never played anything perfect they infact never played the music live the way it sounded on the album.

I cannot understand the negativity! The original BB's weren't always so great live. Lighten up - Mike's serving up a really FUN, sing-along product. I've been going since the 70's and I still sing every song w/ Mike, Bruce and the guys. HAVE FUN, GANG!

I agree the original Beach Boys never played anything perfect on stage either and Mike has never been that great a singer. The Beach Boys for years and yes I'm talking with Al and the Wilson's they never played any of the songs as it sounded on album. This band is trying they're best to make it that way. To quote Dennis from an interview years ago "The Beach Boys created the first big wave surf is up and we're around" and they are still around!

mdefil I have seen the Beach Boys in concert at least 40 times, however the Beach Boys ceased to exist after Carl passed and Al was uncerimoniously kicked out the band by Mikey Loveless. Want to hear the music performed as it should be go and see Brians Band. Mikeys travelling Karoke show does not hold a candle to Brian WIlsons band.

So you haven't seen the group since Carl left right? Than how would you be able to compare? I saw Brian in Boston this past November. I mean it was great but in my personal opinion wasn't nearly as fun as the Beach Boys concerts I've attended.
