I'm making a video like this, and I'm kinda surprised of your choice in music. I've chosen Schubert as my background music. It setes the mood alot better, even though I don't like that kind of music
1997 a girl called lauren was walikng in a forest and then a she just dissapeared no one ever found her untill 2000 when a yoing girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt pretty enough" and now you have read this she will appear in your mirror saying your not pretty enough and kill you. by the way the girl called mary died shortly after.

And yet he was one of the bellwethers of the sturm und drang which prefigured romanticism. Byron too hated being considered a romantic, however both he and Goethe belonged to an era we designate 'Romantic' and both these writer's works have all the characteristics that we identify with Romanticism.
hey, are you maybe from britan or ireland (which would be very cool since I'll soon be there) - I just read that the British definition of "romanticism" differs quite a lot from the German one; we'd never call Goethe a romantic poet, even if it's right that he lived at the same time.
I'm Irish. To call Goethe a 'romantic poet' is definitely too narrow although his works do have the characteristics of Romanticism (Werther for e.g and some of his lyric poetry). It can be argued that Faust is a reaction against the Sturm und Drang in particular & Romanticism in general, but that's an essay in itself.
I like the music just because it juxtaposes so hilariously. Oh wait never mind, the 2nd song just started... It's much worse. Plus it doesn't connect with contemporary romanticists (Jameson for example).
A video about romanticism in the arts, hmmm...but no ROMANTIC MUSIC? Where's the Beethoven, the Schumann, or even Wagner! Come on, how can you talk about Goethe and not about Schubert, Schiller and not Beethoven's 9th? AND WHAT ABOUT CHOPIN!!!!!!!!Instead we get this completely irrelavant alternative rock background...(sorry for the spelling)
music suck.

Sorry, but to call Goethe an author from Romanticism is just wrong! He was against this movement...
