have you watched a longer video or hooked up to an external monitor? I'm thinking of getting one, but am a bit put off by reports of excessive heat. Thanks!

Yea they're pretty nice. I havent had any issues with it either.  The real test is yet to come once school starts hehe.

@flipside217 i bought the latest one a few months ago and its very good but it gets hot fast and when it gets hot it gets slow

@Jshulman1995 Yea it gets hot when your charging it and watching a video at the same time. I have the very first MBA that came out. Been using using it for about a year and a half and never really had any issues with it. But its not my primary computer, its only used for internet and school work.
