  • i dont know what you think but every time a look a movie like this "i said omg why my parents didnt F**** BEFORE 1993! i mean no matter who bad or horrible were the movie... they are GREATS!! in 2020 we are gonna miss all this!! im just saying :D

  • What year was this trailer?

  • What an utterly shite and misleading teaser.

  • Alien 3, is actually not as bad as what people say, The film was much darker and more religious than the previous film. Ripley's faith in the movie is actually sad, depressing, and gets you more involved in the character because she starts to wonder, is it even worth fighting for anymore?

Alien 3 is like the Spider-Man 3 of the Alien Franchise, Its not as bad as what people say it is and the good stuff in the film out matches the bad. I Love it.

Expect for Alien 4, AVP, & AVPR, those were shit!

  • LOVE this teaser ! Thanks for posting.

  • Assembly Cut of Alien 3 is pretty damn good. Never saw this teaser back when, but it's interesting.

  • Anyone who thinks this is a bad film, please watch the assembly cut of the film, the special edition. Had THAT film come out in it's entirety, it would've been bigger than it was. It was a much better scene.

  • The theatrical version of this film sucks. Try and check out the feature length "making of" documentary that is out there on some of the DVD's. You'll then realise why the original cut of this film was so shit. Then hunt down the "assembly cut" of the movie. It's about 40 minutes longer and kicks arse.

  • Coming soon..... Sigourney Weaver in... 1992!!!!

  • Horrible film. Full of plot & logic holes, & a complete bore.

  • alien 3 was gonna be on earth but early on the director quit then they brought in some hack director with a shit idea and what we go was alien 3 at least that is what i read in fangoria or some sci fi movie mag , we the fans were robbed ridley scott and james cameron should team up and save this now shit franchise

  • @jackburton73 David Fincher... what a "hack director". Ever heard of Se7en, Fight Club, or The Girl with the Dragon Tatto?

  • I wonder if the 3rd film should have had the film on Earth since it would have made the film much better.

  • holy shit, did they use the audio file for the recording of that Siberian drill hoax that apparently recorded sounds of hell? sounds just like it with the screams...

  • Thus proving again that "the studio" is the most redundant cog in the film industry.

    Goddamn film execs.

  • Ahh what could have been. Though Alien 3 has grown on me over the years and is godly compared to Resurection. This teaser begs the question what we could have had if 20th century hadnt scrapped all the good scripts for this sequel and rushed Fincher to make it without a finished one. Fuck the damn company!

  • @TheChozoWarrior I know right? They had David "FUCKING" Fincher in the directors chair, but they just didn't know what talent they had.

  • Alien 3 was supposed to be directed by Renny Harlin but he dropped the project after the studio disliked all of his approaches at the story, which like the teaser suggests takes place on Earth.

  • Watching this on AMC as we speak. :)

  • I really love Alien 3, moreso the Assembly Cut. Yeah, Hicks/Newt die, and Ripley dies at the end. But it's well shot, great acting, cinematography, very nihilistic sci-fi horror film. I can understand being pissed that it isn't set on earth, it's not an action flick, and the above characters die. But come on, taken on it's own it's a good film.

  • @Jak00125 I actually have a bit of disdain for Cameron making Aliens very action-oriented. And for most of the other films he's made.

I didn't see any teasers for Alien 3 and I watched it not knowing what to expect and I enjoyed it. Much better than making another shoot 'em up movie and idgaf about Newt or Hicks (although it could have been a little more creative).

  • @PickPocketChaz Haha, I actually grew up on Horror films but I think it was the Alien and Predator action figures that got me interested in these movies specifically. I started with Alien 3 and loved it. Aliens doesn't hold up as much over the years, and the fact that Cameron made the creatures into giant insects seems like a cheat over the ambiguity that was set up in Alien.

  • On Earth everyone screamed when they saw the turd that actually got made

  • If only this has been true. Sigh...

  • "In 1992, we will discover on earth, everyone can hear you scream."

Holy shit, Alien 3 will take place on Earth??? I can't wait to see it!

    *sees the film*

    ...fuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

  • I like how the two top-rated comments completely contradict each other.

  • thumbs up if cracked/com brought u here

  • This makes me wish we could partially reboot a franchise *after* a sequel. Or whatever you would call it. Meaning ignore Alien 3 and Resurrection and give us a better sequel to Aliens. I guess that's kind of what Superman Returns was supposed to be, as it ignored Superman 3 and 4 (thank goodness), although in that case it didn't matter because the film sucked anyway.

  • @kranktank Didn't suck as bad though. I mean at least Superman Returns had Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor going for it.

  • @kranktank I agree with you my friend. That's what I did. I wrote my own Alien 3.

  • @kranktank Resurrection was a reboot, and that was awful in every way.

  • @Jak00125 don't you mean Superman Returns? Alien Ressurection was a sequel.

  • @kranktank superman returns is not a reboot it is a sequal to superman 1 and 2 look it up

  • @Jak00125 you thick fuck alien resurrection is set 200 hundred years after the 3rd did you even watch it u fucking retard its not a fucking reboot at all

  • dekcarc

  • I thought Alien 3 was a fine film, especially after watching the Assembly version. I was especially happy for it to go back to the roots of the franchise, rather than continue with Space Marines shooting things. I say, most of the problem that did damage this movie were the killing off of everyone from Aliens at the very fucking beginning...

  • Alien 3 isn't bad, it's just not nearly as good as the first two Alien films. Of course, since we now have Resurrection, AVP, and AVPR, Alien 3 is not even close to being the worst in the series.

  • @RincewindsHat66 you are so right

  • The "Assembly Cut" of Alien 3 elevates it from being a disappointing sequel to a fairly worthy end to the series. "Alien Resurrection" shall be stricken from the record.

  • Alien 3 wasn't really an action movie, more a psychological thriller, and with all the hype (such as trailers like this one) it was bound to disappoint. Try watching it sometime as a standalone movie; you'll enjoy it a whole lot more. It's really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Actually considering all the behind-the-scenes wrangling going on it turned out to be pretty good.

  • @icemachine79 I always believed it had the best acting of the series. Try watching the DVD/Blu ray versions, they've added a lot that fleshes out the story more effectively.

  • its painful knowing how fucking awesome this movie could have been, and then knowing it turned out a giant pile of shit.

  • this would have been a kick ass movie if they would have it stuck with earth

  • @LukeLovesRose Cameron just took the whole series into his comfort zone and made the prototype for most sci fi action movies to come. Aliens is an entertaining movie, but in no way a masterpiece. All Cameron did was bring in the marines, who are not even smart enough to leave one person, ONE person, on their ship and get stranded in the process. Typical pseudo-military tacticoolness.

  • the original script was suppose to take place on earth but some shit happened and it got a re-write.

  • @PowerCrazyWorld Actually, out of all the different drafts of all the different scripts, from eight different writers, NOT ONE took place on Earth.

  • "Alien 3" is one of the qorst sequels ever, and if I saw this trailer beforehand, I would've hated it even more.

It's so depressing that we finally got them on earth, and yet both times it was exactly what no one wanted (aka the Arctic and a backwoods town).

  • @Nanaman12345 *worst

  • @Nanaman12345 Troll 2 is the only truely horrid sequel. Sadly, I like that movie though. And I like Alien 3...

  • @Nanaman12345 This is actually the original version. This one was scrapped and they decided to try something else. What we have now.

  • @Nanaman12345 Probably because if the Aliens ever got loose in a major city (like New York, Chicago, or L.A.) there'd be almost ZERO chance of stopping them all... too many places to hide, no way to throw a lid over all of them before one got loose somehow to start the contagion elsewhere; and if a Queen is involved, that makes things 1000 times worse...in short, if they ever got into a major city and if by an act of God weren't somehow contained...Humanity would be SCREWED. Sad ending, much?

  • Even if the trailer was misleading, this is still one of the best teasers I've ever seen.

  • I think this teaser was made without finchers consent, I guess they thought that hinting that the film might take place on earth would make more people wanna see it.

  • Alien 3: one of those What The Fuck Ever sequels where they didn't give a shit about making it feel anything like the predecessors.

  • Earth?
