I believe I need to try and play this game again. I was among the many who were disenchanted due to the distinct differences between Chrono Trigger ad this game. I think I need to replay this as a game in its own right now that its been so many years since I played Trigger.

I remember having a demo of this game, the opening of the demo would be you, kid, and one other random party member, coming up an elevator, and this song starts, and it's just hauling ass all throughout the demo. Shit was awesome.

Chrono cross is such an amazing game! It's so colorful, the characters are awesome, the music is fucking mind blowing! Definitely one of the best games ever made!!

Now that I have your attention, and quick way of getting my PS1 emu working, I got the bios active on several emu's but usually shit hits the fan. Any general rules on emu apps for W7 OS using 64 bit or is that just red flag or me being to lazy to find out ?

I personally like everything SE has done over the years, it's still my all-time favorite company. I love the old games a bit more, but the newer ones offer me a completely different experience which I also like a lot. I always tend to look at the "SE sucks" debate as an absolute exaggeration, at least IMO.

it's because now all Square does is concentrate on making their games aesthetically amazing, rather than focusing on making a game that has a great story and great gameplay. it's sad to realize, but the advancement in technology is actually HINDERING most games from being as great as their classic counterparts.

Yeah, CC definitely had one of the best soundtracks on the PSX. Final Fantasy IX is probably the only game I played that had a soundtrack that matched it on that system.
