I worked here on the boating lake in 1975 and 1976 the first years of operation. Had some good laughs for my 66 pence an hour and a free swim after work. It was historically an emergency supply for Newport dry dock. Is it still going?

I visited the place april 2010 while staying in caerphilly...great place especially the mansion too bad cant take any pics from inside
