i came here after watching a review of the new Fiat 500 Abarth. Now im wondering, if there'll be big competition between these two because theyre suprisingly similar - especially this one with the stripe, a cue taken from the original Abarth. Id love to see a head to head comparo
For the US, Suzuki outfits the SX4 Crossover with a 2.0L that cranks out 150hp when mated to the 6-speed manual. Road Race Motorsports designed and installed parts from the catalog to create this one-off project car for Suzuki. Anyone can purchase the parts from RRM to create their own sports-tune SX4.
Unfortunately I don't think this car will be coming to Belgium. But I think maybe you can get an entry level 2010 6spd hatchback for a very good price and then just buy the extra stuff that the sportback has such as the lower springs, catback exhaust, and cold air intake. It will probably cost you less money doing it yourself anyways. And plus you can add the extra stuff little by little as you can afford it. But I don't know about the engine, in Belgium it's a 1.6 litre no?
Ok I looked it up and I do see a 1.9 turbo-diesel engine available for the SX4 in Europe. Is that the engine you are refering to? If so I hope you get one, I would love to have some feedback from you on how the 1.9 TDi performs! :)
but it's for my dad, he just had a car accident and needs another car. He wanted a subcompact car, but one of a rather cheapy price, yet sportif. But I might drive it later on...
@JetBlueIce What is th emilage rating in TDI SX4?? I wish we had the diesel option here in Canada :( I got a 2007 2.0 gas engine and the mileage isnt that good on it...
Well there are several TDI's that Suzuki is using in the SX4 so it depends on which engine. They are 1.6 l, 1.9 l, and 2.0 l. As far as Canada, Suzuki already has 2 SX4 TDi's it is testing in Canada, they are the 1.6 DDiS Peugeot versions. It gets 53.3 (imperial) mpg's on the combined cycle. If you really want to see it in Canada then your local Suzi dealer needs to hear from you. They are still deciding on it.
Well Europeans like sporty compact cars so I would think that Suzuki of Belgium would want to bring over the SportBack Edition. Maybe if they feel there is enough demand they will.

I have the 2.0 N/A gas engine SX4. It's pretty quick but i think i'd rather have the awd rather than the fwd.

The suzuki sx4 sportback looks VERY good.
But will it come to Belgium?

If not then maybe you should consider a used BMW.
