Why not show off his abilities in combat? It's what keeps him alive, after all. That's the one thing I didn't really like about the first Starcraft. What people don't understand is that Blizzard is catering to more than just the die hard lore junkies.

When you have a 10 million plus fan base they are going to appeal to the majority which are the people who want to blow shit up. Even for a lore junky that trailer is very complex if you think about the setting and characters.

They are revealing some, but not enough to spoil anything. Overall a job well done by a corporation who is trying to make money.

The roaring audience, especially after the slow motion part show how companies managed to dumb down their audiences. Starcraft featured videos with intelligence, wit, sarcasm and professiaonalims (Mengsk's speech for example) It had an adult and original style, this video is like an action movie for idiots.....I'm dissappointed Blizzard, you could have continued the saga....but these videos -no matter how well they look- just do not have the content people are looking for....

Example: warcraft 3 trailer...orc, human duking it out...inferno comes down explosion, death, grand speach. Cliche and cheese. Thats the whole point of a trailer. Don't start judging when you have only seen the tip of the iceberg.

I wasn't referring to this trailer ONLY. I was regarding the cinematics that would be part of the terran campaign as well. Prob get minus thumbs for having an opinion but it seemed dumbed down (like what szederp said) compared to what I've seen in starcraft 1. The gameplay I don't think il have a problem with, but the way theyre portraying the story doesn't have the same depth (which takes away the quality of the game for me). Anyway I'll just hope that their content improves :S

Really, the quality is superb, Blizzard surely knows how to create videos. However just look at the content and compare it with the earlier ones. These new videos are so meant for effect so dumbed down. Slow motion and other stuff, it was just not Blizzard's/Starcraft's style back then. This is for kids....not for those people who have been promoting SC for TEN years now.....
