`79 was such a great year musically. About all the corps in the top 12 that year had good shows. Now, `80 didn't have much to get excited about, except 27th who should have won, and SCV on the cutting edge of drill. I loved the Guardsmen.
That's your dad at 1:45? I've never marched in corps, but as a fan I've, always thought this was one of the best solos in all my DCI listening. Great job by your dad.

Great Hornline, solists, and LOUD Slingerland Tenor drums (one of the first corps to use quads). And those shakos are huge!

My Dad is the Baritone soloist, it's awesome to see him playing!!!!!! It encourages me to continue on my horn. Go Dad lol
