Most of Lucarios moves wouldn't be very strong and because Lucario is steel type he has a vulnerability to fighting type moves and Mewtwo can learn most fighting type moves, plus Mewtwo's special attack stat is the highest of any pokemon (Even Arceus) and Mewtwo mostly learns special attacks....plus Mewtwo's just cooler than Lucario

@BandicootKate Actually, Deoxys can have a Special attack of 504, while Mewtwo is in 2nd place at 447. That still beats Lucario at a mere 361. Lucario can boast Extremespeed though. If he can get in a good Dark Pulse/Crunch and survive Mewtwo's first attack, I'd say there is a good chance extremespeed would finish the clone off. But Mewtwo's Aura Sphere never misses, and would OHKO Lucario barring a focus sash. I love lucario, but the point goes to Mewtwo.

To end this rediculous idea lucario would win, Mewtwo learns aura sphere at lvl 100. Its already rekokulous high special atk and speed would allow it to pwn Lucario with one aura sphere, which is super effective against lucario''s steel type. Lucario also has significantly lower special defense than Mewtwo, meaning Lucario has zero chance unless it hits a crit hit with dark pulse, and lucario must have a higher base special atk stat than norm, with say a Modest nature..

@Sunshinethefox well actually, steel types are resistant to psychic attacks. Fighting types are weak against psychic, so it would do the average amount of damage since that would balance it. Then, Lucario's Dark Pulse, being a dark type move, would be super effective against mewtwo. If you don't believe me about the steel thing, look up the type matchups on bulbapedia :P and trust me, normal pokemon can beat legendaries xD

Frankly, I think it's a tie. Mewtwo IS a legendary, and a clone of Mew, who created all the other Pokemon (Except for Arceus, Giritina, Palkia, Dialga, and the Lake Trio, perhaps, Gen IV confused me on that whole thing, since Arceus made the universe, and Giritina, Dialga, Palkia, and the Lake Trio), making it uber powerful, but Lucario IS able to control auras that, when used correctly, can easily eliminate any and every living thing.
