    Merci Jonsi. ♥

  • And we're in a foreign eyes Yet we have known all along Under the alert eyes means létumst Are currently two-stage Trying to dig up the heart and kindness and real Trying to break into Trying to drill, and the story hanging lock But all is for nothing Come in niðurlot Do not know what the plan should be Come to determine the development Trying to dig up the heart and kindness and real Trying to break into Trying to drill, and the story hanging lock (i used google translate)

  • Can I just have an automatic repeat button?

  • @1Arch1 add "repeat" to youtube in the video's url so it becomes y o u t u b e r e p e a t . c o m and the vid will repeat automatically heh.

  • this is very sigur-like song, but I think it might be easily among their very best songs (it's also very fljótavík-like, but I like it more)

  • @karelzich - Agreed - this is the closest he's come to something I would expect to find on a Sigur Ros album - and yes, much like Fljotavik and Illgresi.

  • it make think about Troy Davis!!! RIP Troy :'(

  • @quaecky Jónsi is singing in his native language, Icelandic. I'm not sure my translation (I speak Icleandic too) would fit here, but the song is about trying to break into your emotions (or someone elses) but the ''padlock of time'' (Hengilás) is blocking.

  • @bustersally22 I'm sorry, but Google Translate translations aren't accurate..

  • @raudidyr2 oh, ok thanks for telling me! =)

  • One time I got my heart broken and this was all I would listen to.

  • @quaecky it's icelandic. if you search on google 'jonsi hengilas translation' -> first result -> 11th post by freialise is the translation :)

  • I love how you can hear the musicians breathing...this song is so beautiful and calming. Whenever I've had a bad day, I just listen to this song, and let everything go. Before I knew of Jonsi, I never knew music could do that to me.

  • I still can't get it through my mind that this song has dislikes. These songs are the types of songs that are guarenteed going to be liked by passionate fans of Jonsi. It's not like a video of an idiot picking his nose with 10 million views, this is different. This......is just pure genius..

  • This song makes me sad. The tone of his voice and the music is just depressing like his mom or dad died... A Translation would be very useful to understanding why it is so sad.

  • Sounds like "The Book of Love" by Peter Gabriel

  • @IisCrazyFool woah. i was just listening to peter gabriel and that was my first thought and i went to go write that and saw your post.... O.o

  • look up "while the city sleeps-bridge", same kind of playfulness and colourful soundscapes!

  • Just amazing.

  • this is my favorite song now. Out of all the songs from Sigur Ros, Mogwai, EITS, TWDY, Hammock--this is my favorite

  • 2:49. so beautiful. <3

  • I think I like him better now that I realize he's openly gay and is blind in one eye. It just goes to show that you can do amazing things no matter what the public thinks.

  • @lovelythorns glad to see I'm not the only one who looked him up on Wikipedia after hearing this song!!! I completely agree with you : )

  • @lovelythorns this just answered my one question of whether he was gay or the worlds biggest heterosexual...

  • @lovelythorns Too bad he doesn't also have a hairlip and Tourettes syndrome, then he'd REALLY be good

  • La sua voce riesce a percepirla prima il mio cuore...poi i miei timpani...

Jónsi è l'unico che riesce a farmi questo effetto.

  • Last night I confessed to my crush of at least a year. Of course I was shot down. I turned on my iPod and this is the first thing that comes on. I picture myself walking in slow motion, with smoke and fire going on around me, looking super brutal, coming back from the chaos or something. This song just evokes crazy stuff like that. It's weird.

  • who the french toast could dislike this??

  • im so pissed i missed his concert in october in ATL i had no idea he was doing tour in US, so pissed but luckily i have this music to calm em down. Still pissed though, just now listening to this album wishing i could have been in Tabernacle with complete silence and just his voice throughout the theater.

  • @Systemred88 me too!!! so jealous

  • I have nothing but love for this man. I think I would go gay for him.

  • 2:49 - 3:20 UNREAL!!!

  • when i saw him at Voodoo fest i felt like i was witnessing a unicorn!!

  • @eolon Because your not a musical genius..

and im not a teenage girl..well...not yet. I haven't filled out all the paper work for that yet..

  • @eolon dirty mexican...

  • Jonsi is incredible, Sigur Ros is incredible, Riceboy Sleeps as well.. everything that he touches seems to just blow me away.

  • I just saw Jonsi in concert today in san diego. I haven't felt this happy in years.

  • The songs he sings in icelandic are the best.

  • Music! Very music!

  • First song on the shuffle driving 2 work, set my soul straight. Saw him at the Dome in Bright-town last month, so very good. Do It...

  • damn, I love that song!!!!!!!

  • I think I'm going to buy this album!

  • I bought this album today, and im usually not an itunes person but I make exceptions for beautiful music.

  • This album is so powerful.

  • the most beautiful song by jonsi that i've ever heard.

  • i love it when he sings icelandic sounds more real than in englsih

  • This song is fantastic. It's like a song you'd play at the funeral of some fallen Norse warrior, getting ready to ascend to Valhalla.

  • one person dislikes obviously doesn't have taste

  • Come into my Soul some more !!!!!!! <3 being surrounded by this music = ]

  • can somebody translate the lyrics?

  • every time I hear this song my heart stops and reminds me of all the hard times in my life, and helps me forget them. Thank you Jonsi.

  • this kinda sounds like enya i little bit

  • That brass is just SO beautiful. Especially at the end of the song:)

  • Its Released May 18th 2010 Great Track!!

  • Genius.

  • I love this album so much.

And I love the picture used in the video. His hair looks so soft, lol.

  • @cincoemerge I was thinking that too!!! haha...his hair looks like it just wants to be touched haha

  • @Zsark95Ehc hhahahaha

  • i love this, but it's sad whether you're in a good or bad mood :'( i wonder what the words mean...

  • his voice touches my heart and my soul.....as solo singer and with sigur rós....he´s the best!

  • An amazing album-music for the soul..:))

  • sounds so much like sigur ros.. no surprises why xP

  • There's an amazing clip of the volcano in Iceland with this song being sung by Jonsi in the background. It's really moving to watch - a perfect song for the volcano.

  • Beautiful

  • Beautiful

  • Beautiful

  • I don't think this has officially been released yet. Is this the album leak? I've heard there was one, but I don't want to go there particularly. Where did you get this from?

  • Yes the album was leaked, the actual release date is in April. PM me if you want a download link, but you should buy the album once it comes out to support Jonsi.

  • I'm fine thanks, I'd like to wait to hear all of it, and I'll buy it when it comes out officially. (I'm trying not to listen to this so it's sounds new when I get the real album! Hahaha.)

    Okay, thanks though.

  • @threeup2 I know that NPR is streaming the whole album. But is there a higher quality download?

  • @threeup2 I know that NPR is streaming the whole album. But is there a higher quality download?

  • @Interplay1986 The highest quality I found had a bitrate of 160 kbps, so to my knowledge no, but I could be completely wrong.

  • @threeup2 i bought it today!!!

  • @jackie4244 Yay!

  • @threeup2 hey...can I get the link plz : ) wink^wink^ lol

  • The strings sounded like a cross between the tune of Fljotavik/Straumnes and Heysatan.
