This young man was the husband to a little girl I used to babysit and while I never met him, I cried when I heard of his sacrifice & when his mother in law shared this on her FB page it brought home to me the extraordinary sacrifice paid by our military & their families. I have 2 adopted sons in the AF & a nephew who is a Marine as well as many others who grew up with my son who are Army, Navy ,AF & Marines....I'm so proud of all of these young people for their service & sacrifice....God Bless~

Watching this... I feel like I am back at SPC Lewis' Memorial. I'm not sure if I ever met him, with my Husband being in a different troop, but he was a part of the 8-1 CAV, therefore family.

As a member of the NTx PGR I had the great honor of riding in Spc Lewis' funeral presession. As an Army Vet there is no greater Honor then to bring a fellow warrior Home to rest. My GOD watch over and keep his family in his loving arms. ANd may they know that America has not and will not forget the sacrifice this warrior has made for us all.
