It's god damn unnerving how clean and relaxed he always is. It's like he's not even skating, he's just floating around, going where the flow takes him.

Unlike the skaters of today, who, too, are fun to look at occasionally, but who completely lack style, imagination and the whole aura of fun that Tom has.

Skateboarding isn't just a sport, and Tom is one of the few people who understand that. And what's more, he could've been a Tony Hawk, rich and famous, but chose not to. That's real.
