Having a boys only club isn't a problem. The problem was their reasoning behind it being a boys only club (girls can't play odd ball). They were being chauvinists.

I think that the main idea of this episode is not that guy clubs should be banned, but that it is wrong to exclude a girl from a club simply because the activities (such as the sport of odd ball) are traditionally favored by the male gender.
I get what they're saying about equal treatment of everyone which is right, but if taken literally I disagree with this episode. I think it's ok for guys to have "guys only" clubs because I would want to be able to have a girls only club. There are times when it's nice to just hang out with the girls and I see why guys would want to do the same. However, it is wrong if you get mean about it.
Is it me or does the caterpillar act as a "Wilson" character (like Wilson from "Home Improvement")? Basically this character is around to provide good advice and 'somber second thought'.
