West Wing is the fantasy world in the heads of Democrats. It's who they imagine themselves to be. The fact that Democrats are actually barely literate, morality-challenged teenagers in adult bodies who deliberately trash the core institutions of the nation, and for whom any resemblance between what they say and what is true is mere coincidence when it happens to occur, somehow never comes across in this fantasy world.

If anything, i'd consider myself to be fairly liberal, and somewhere inbetween the left and right sides of the political scale. So any insults you try to throw my way, will simply go ignored. It's amazing how certain candidates and elected officials have wonderful oratory. They speak well, have charisma and make people believe in their abilities. However, just like the rest of the West Wing seasons, Bartlett realized that even though he had goals to accomplish, it took good people surrounding him to help him get those objectives realized. It is the same way with the current real-life administration. Campaigning is different from governing.
