I'm a bit confused about counter-steering while watching this video. When you are heading into the turns it looks like the handlebars(fork) are pointing in the direction of the turn. So going left make looks like the fork is pointing left. If you were pushing on the left hand grip to go left wouldn't the fork point a little right?
Hey, great vids. I like the drivers perspective idea but I think having the speedometer central in the screen is distracting from the bigger picture. If the speedometer were closer to the bottom of the screen while still showing the hands, I think it would be an improvement.
I am having a little trouble with the counter steering idea ..but i don't have a bike yet so, I cant see for myself although i am planning to take an MSF course. But , i wish the camera was a little more to the back so i could see the handle bars and how you do the counter -steering thing
The video I think makes it look like the car was closer than he or she really was. I use a camera setup that I came up with on my own using a simple Kodak camera that records short videos.
Thanks for the responses, we are going to try just a slight bit higher angle. That is if it ever stops snowing here in Chicago. April 5th and it is snowing like it is December right now.

5 stars ***** The trick back in the 70's was to drive (with a car) thru Highland/Pilcher park as fast as you can without hitting a tree.

I really like your handlebars and all, but you might need a helmet cam.
