  • :)

  • Hi I'm 12years old and I weight 49-50kg and I think I'm too heavy. Do you have any suggestions that I can do and easy things? Thank you!

  • @akane9926 Try jumping rope at a slow pace with your legs slightly bent. Or you can walk up hill to burn more calories. You can even march in place. Good luck!

  • 1st video i've ever seen with 0 dislikes. :D

  • lmao shes funny

  • @ladiietbaby Yes she is. That's my little girl!!!

  • I'm so glad I've found your channel ... You gave me strenght to start all over again, you're literally my idol, no kiddin' ^_^ ... You must be awesomest dad out there ... Anyway, since it's 25th of December today I wish you all, you and your family, merry Christmas! I hope you'll spend it somewhere together and have fun! :)

  • @Klemzor1992 Wow! I'm so humbled by your kind words my friend! Merry christmas to you and your family!! Even if I'm not with my daughter, she's always with me in my heart.

  • Any advice to someone just starting out that is about 30-40 lbs overweight and suffers from knee pain. Would you recommend using other means of cardio first then start jumping? Thanks

  • @bradschak Try jumping rope. If that hurts, then use an eliptical machine. They have no impact on your knees. Also start using a foam roller, the 6" foam at the gym or buy one with an instructional disc. Good Luck!!!!

  • @theC3MPCR3W same!!! Hey TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE WHO CAN'T LOSE WEIGHT GUESS WHAT.?!?! MIGHT BE LOTS OF PPL LIKE FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO ALL ARE SKINNY BUT I THINK YOU'RE CLOSEST FRIENDS ARE PPL WHO ARE LIKE YOU AND ALL THOSE PPL WHO WAY ALLOT LIKE ME AND IT'S HARD TO LOSE WEIGHT, YOU GUYS ARR MY CLOSEST FRIENDS EVA, WE MIGHT NOT NO EACH OTHER BUT WE HAVE THE SAME FEELING, THE SAME THING THAT MAKES US WORK SO HARD TOWARDS OUR GOALS, thnx everybody hope u guys lose weight

  • @Ionagraingermusic Keep it movin! Don't give up!

  • @MrGod351 well you know what?!?! I'm 10 I way 51.9kg and I'm deseperate to be like my BBF's weighing 43kg I thought I lost weight but I actually gained a kilo But you know what?!?! Ppl always judge you things that don't like, and your much less fat/ugly/skinny/dumb/stupid than they think. A girl in my school weighs 120pounds 2 but I believe in YOU, it's hard I know but were both on the same track

  • @Ionagraingermusic You guys just have to take it one day at a time. That's all you can do. Have a gameplan and stick to it. Don't give up. If something isn't working, then mix it up. Find what you like to do to get you to your goal. You need a real reason to not only get in shape, but to stay there. Diet and exercise is it. Good Luck guys!!

  • people dont call me fat i just wanna loose my belly

  • Nice :)

  • I'm gonna start trying this out. I am a volleyball player and in 9th grade your supost to be able to move pretty fast well...being 6ft tall doesn't help. and i've had many coaches, and fitness experts tell me if i wanna incress my speed this is how. thank ou for posting this video. I'm determined to do this.

  • @tcpill It will help tremendously. You need foot speed for volleyball. Jumping rope will do it!!

  • @tcpill Great! Good Luck. Keep me posted!!

  • @gimmethat45 Dude I agree! I've used it too and it worked amazingly! I feel great about it because I lose so mush fats and now I feel confident of my body as before!

  • @TheMikeBison Nice!!! Keep it up bro! It's a new lease on life!!

  • @TheMikeBison Nice man. Keep it up!!

  • Jump rope is superior to the elliptical or treadmill machines?... (in your opinion)

  • @dlw0066 I prefer Jumping rope because I can have more fun when listening to an ipod. Elliptical comes in handy when your injured and need a rest from your joints pounding from running. Treadmills are less stressful on your knees than running on concrete. Whatever works for you.

  • man this looks like fun i like how you can move with the music and any type good job man

  • @BravePlatoon Thanks bro! You should try it. Keeps you motivated.

  • How many jump ropes did you burn through in that 8 months? lol

  • @XxEthan1xX about 20 ropes.

  • Looks like he is having fun dancing to it. lol

  • @XxEthan1xX I am. haha. Time passes so much faster with music.

  • @jumpropeclass I think I will have to try this out. Been determined to lose the weight I gained over winter from my lazy sit around job. -_-

  • Man great video thanks

  • @BallisticBrawler Thanks bro!

  • Wow! You look absolutely AMAZING! I am just getting into jump roping..it's fun and great cardio workout. Gonna have to get a real jump rope though, because the gym has cheap ones that tangle so easily.

    Thanks for the videos!

  • @soul4tran Thanks! Your welcome!!

  • THAT WOOOORRRRKKKKS GOOD

  • @PrettyOrPink1 Thanks!

  • how long do u have to skip for?

  • @RockgirlMega10 Jump for as long as you want. It's up to you. Try to build up to an hour.

  • i wish my dad was this active :(

  • @killercommunity Awwwee!! Go to him and ask him to do something with you. That's what got me to lose weight. I did it for my daughter.

  • @killercommunity mine too but he has metal in his back and he gets tired so kuick! :(

  • @yaayyiittaa my dad always uses the excuse "i'm too old for this" lol

  • well done I saw your photos! sorry if it has been asked already...........how long did it take you to lose the belly n did u have to change your diet?

  • @natty871 it took me 8 months to lose 100 lbs. I went on a low fat, low sugar diet.

  • @0:29. haha she looks like " hate u dad....-______-'' LOL ....thats nice to see a parent doing activity with kid

  • @vn01208503 Yeah, she was upset that I was showing off. LOL!! Being a parent is what's life is all about!!

  • Waaait is your childs name Iana?

  • @Aj16o hahaha. No.

  • Is 112lb (8stone) overwieght for a 13. Yr old?

  • nice, its fun!

  • Man you are in awesome shape and an inspiration to others. I am an exercise and theory leader for a family obesity program and I can tell you now from experience that there is no better motivation for parents or anybody on this earth to get in great shape for their loved ones.

Keep up the awesome work and sending out that positive message :) You the man!

  • @Althugz thank you for the kind words. It is always an inspiration for me to be able to help others. especially when I have been there myself.

  • im 8 and im 120 lbs i no im fat but i can jump rope 4 a long time but i dont have a jump rope and i can do yoga and push ups but when i lose weight i eat and dont exersize and i gain it all again :*(

  • @theC3MPCR3W Find something that you enjoy to do. Sports, running, whatever and just have fun and do it. Keep moving. That's the secret to losing weight. That and eat low fat, low sugar foods. Have your parents help with you with that.

Take care of your body. You only get one. Thanks for the comment. Keep in touch.

  • Wow you are an inspiration! I'm going to start my jump roping tomorrow. I am 40 pounds overweight, 19 year old female. I've been trying my best to lose weight i have lost some but not a lot. Does it matter what jump rope I start with? How do i motivate myself to jump for 3 hours? Thank you so much!! PLEASE answer if u read this. Congrats on your weight loss!!

  • @MszAppleBottoms Thanks for the kind words and the congradulations. You have to go at your own pace. Three hours is my thing. Just start at 30 minutes and work your way to an hour. That's all you really need. I'm just crazy. Hahaha. To help you motivate yourself, use an ipod. Fill it with your favorite music that you can follow the beat to. Good Luck.

  • Ok well im a 10 year old kid thats 120 pounds i know im fat how to i lsoe weight

  • @MrGod351 Find something that you enjoy to exercise. You have to move around to burn fat. Also, eat healthy. Low fat and low sugar foods. There you go. Simple and easy. You can do it.

  • If i do skipping everyday each day i do 30minutes of that how long would it take for me to lose 22lbs>? (10kg)

  • @091297x3. It depends on how fast you jump and your diet . just take it one day at a time. Try to jump rope for 15 minutes then 30 minutes, up to 1 hour. everyday. keep eating clean and you will lose weight.

  • @jumpropeclass oh ok , but will i get bulky calves? will my calves slim down by doing jumping rope?

  • @thereadyset38 Have her jump at a fun pace for her for as long as she can go up to an hour. It's important that she enjoys it. Have her listen to her favorite music.

Then make sure she watches what she eats. Low sugar, low fat diet. 4 grams or less. That should do it.

  • @thereadyset38 if yu want to loose weight its kind of simple wat u do is allways look on the things yu buy and how many calories thy r buy the healthy stuff yu should do exercise aswell like skiipping rope swimming trampoline :) im just tryn help u should do a diet thts wat im doing lol . . .

  • @thereadyset38 Yes she can. Just make sure she has fun doing it. If she enjoys it, she can jump for hours. 15 minutes is a good start. If you can, jump with her. Make it fun!! Good luck!

  • It takes a real man to jump rope with his daughter and miley cyrus God Bless :)

  • @cutienails48 Lololol!!!! Thank you. I try.

  • @jumpropeclass lolol

  • she couldn't keep up because dad didn't buy her the titanium handles.

  • @mrbarr911 Hahaha! I offered her my spare ones but she didn't want them.

  • it takes a real dad to hear miley cyrus with his duaghter -good job

  • @cynthiaisawesom LOLOLOLOLOL!!! Thank you! You wouldn't believe what I have to listen to. Love her.

  • @cynthiaisawesom The things we do for our kids. LOL!

  • lol.... your daughter is probably thinking "gosh.... my dad is such a show off!" XD

  • @coralcay222 Yep.. that was pretty much what she was thinking. hahahaha!!

  • What an awesome Dad !

  • @vorlonhalt Thanks. I try.

  • 0:20 was cute

  • Yay she is pretty good at that alternate leg jump.

It really does hurt if you whip your own arms or legs in double unders I had to wear long sleeves and trousers when I was learning that..

  • i don't know how to skip rope, i just bought one nd i'm like dying =_="

  • Ok what I hate is when people see fat people. Thay asume that there lazy and some aren't I'm fat and I'm still active I can do flips on the trampoline and I'm good at sports and I love volly ball

  • @ashlynnwillis Good for you. Don't let those fools affect your self esteem. You just worry about your health. Let them worry about themselves. You just have to tweek your diet to take in less calories and fat and sugar... That's what I did. Stay active with what you love to do.

    Keep up the good work!!!

  • Will it acutely work fuse I'm in 7th garage and I'm 12 I really wantto lose weight so I dont miss out on anything if so please email me at. Ashlynnwillis12@yahoo.com thank u

  • @ashlynnwillis seriously delete this comment , youve stated your full name and age AND your email for all to see :/ thats really bad kid .

  • hello, ]

im 10 years old so is it good for me to jump rope everyday?

Everytime i jump rope as good as i can i start getting red and feeling dizzy,

if i push myself too hard will my growth mess up?

  • hey i wanna try loose weigth while jumping rope to.one question, how to stretch after,or what to do,so my legs wouldnt come bulky?{ima girl i dont wanna any muscles]

  • @BigLoveForRock You leg muscles will not bulk up from jumping rope. However, they will get toned. Just make sure to stretch to avoid injuries.

    Good Luck.

  • Comment removed

  • Hello. I have a question. Why do I feel a bit dizzy or something after I jump rope many times? :)

  • @coolgunz2000x It might be that you don't have any sugar in your body to feed your brain. Liver glycogen is what it's called. Are you working out with an empty stomach? You need to eat some simple sugars such as an apple, bananna.. about 20 grams of carbs at least 1 hour before you work out to help feed your brain and not get light headed.

  • @jumpropeclass Oh ok... Thank you :)

  • i started jumping rope yesterday and i jump 2000 times......but do u really lose weight if u do it everyday????? i heard your muscles get used to the same exercise and then u dont lose anything:/...i also go to the gym but never seem to lose anything:/

  • @joselineya Not exactly true. As long as you burn more calories than you eat, you will lose weight. It is good to mix things up to confuse your muscles, but that's more for gaining muscle. Do what you enjoy and burn calories. Whatever works for you.

    Good Luck.

  • nice, im going to jump rope too, its fun!

  • @ jumpropeclass , same thing I told him, jump roping is a great calf work out haha there killing me, but I never give up I stay goin till the end.

  • @Miami305Boii Just make sure to stretch your calves afterwards. Very important to stay injury free. Never give up!! Nice work!!

  • @jumpropeclass Can you do jumping jacks instead of jumping robes, Because i cant do it xD.

  • @filmonabaiy Yes you can!!!!! Don't give up!! EVER!! Jumping jacks is good cardio, but don't just give up because it's hard. It was hard for me too. I couldn't even do two in a row.

    NEVER GIVE UP!!! EVER!!!!

I hope this answers your question.

  • @jumpropeclass Actualy if i do jumping jacks i dont feel the burn, Its like im elastic, So i dont realy know if its wroking ):

  • @ jumpropeclass , I saw you before and after pictures and bro, those are better results than people who use bowflex and stuff like that. So I told my friend about the jump roping and he said u can get the same efect if you jump in place and move your arms in the same motion as if u had a jump rope but I disagree, what do you think.. LOST 5 lbs :0

  • @Miami305Boii NOOOO WAY!!!!!!!!! You don't use your arm muscles when you jump without a rope.. you just twirl your wrists.. You need the resistance to use your muscles to burn fat. Case closed. Use a rope. Do the work. No gimmics will get you in shape.. just hard work.

  • Thanks bro, feels good to be working again, and even though your far you can still help me out, keep posting the vids bro!

  • @Miami305Boii Soon, real soon. Keep it up man!

  • How many times a week should I do it and fir how long, I did it for about 1 1/2 hours and I lost 2 pounds..

  • @Miami305Boii 3 times a week for 15 - 30 minutes would be a good start. Don't worry about weighing yourself afterwards. your just losing water weight. Wait for the next morning. Keep up the good work.

  • So you've basicly re-inspired me, I once had a very athletic body I guess u can say, and I lost it all wen I started partying and what not, so I just have one question bro.. Does this help lose belly fat quickly??

  • @Miami305Boii Yes!! Any fat on your body. Burn more calories than you take in and you will lose weight.

  • i cant stop jumping rope...lol...but really how you cross your hand technique..i can fit in the small hole...

  • @MegaHairi Practice without jumping first to cross your hands so the rope makes a loop in front of you. Just takes practice.

  • OMG! How did you got those trophys ?

  • @HomieNihaz Hahaha. I shot the video at a dance studio. I wish.

  • I'm From Thailand , This is lovely jump rope VDO clip. I like skipping (let's see my JR videos). However , there are very few Thai peoples do jump rope seriously for their work out routine.

  • @zoangss3 Thanks. It's the same here. Jumping rope is the best workout with the least amount of risk for injury.

  • i cant jumprope for shit. but that guy, fucking talented...

  • @rotsebanotman Thanks. But anyone can do it if they wanted to.

  • @jumpropeclass

    with years of practice maybe...

  • @rotsebanotman I don't think it would take years of practice to get a feel for jumping rope. if you did it 5-6 days a week you would quickly get a feel for it and then be able to slowly try the more tricky stuff. we sued to have to do all these tricks for my gym class in junior high and then know them all after a certain time, and it wasn't so bad.

  • @anUHkins

    maybe...

  • @rotsebanotman I learned quickly and so can you. Don't give up before you try.

  • This looks hard. I cant ever jump rope like that! I do jump rope and work out on the eliptical. So far ive lost 16 pounds and im

    12. But this looks realllly hard.

  • @jkoriginals Don't worry about how it looks. Just make sure you enjoy yourself. Try it out at a comfortable pace for you. You will eventually get better. Great job losing 16 pounds. I know your feeling good about yourself. Keep up the good work!!!

  • Hey, great vid. Where did you get your jump rope? I have a leather one but it's kinda slow, when i wanna go faster my arms get rlly tired after a short time.

  • @SaleSensei .comgo to buddyleejumprope. You want the aerospeed II titanium with the black handles.

  • I love your video's! I actually just got the idea to start a jump rope class at our local elementary school and I am so excited to get the kids started! I can't wait to get some great exercise and help the kids get into or stay in shape! I do have issue's with breast size but I dont think you can answer those questions, or can you?

  • @peggy822 Haha. I'll try my best. I have taught well endowed women how to jump rope. You have to wear support bras. Some women were as many as 4 sports bras to keep them in place while jumping. I hope that helps.

  • @Brittany2049 8 months

  • is it possible to lose weight by improving your diet and just jumping rope, or should we incorporate another form of cardio/exercise? is jumping rope enough?

  • @morningstar196 Most definitely. But it is your choice. My cardio is jumping rope. That's it. But that's me. You can do weight training also.

  • I'm 11. And I weigh 120 lbs. I realized that when I moved from Seattle, which is a very lively city with many activities and it just sorta motivates you to just run around outside and enjoy the nice weather. I had a very healthy lifestyle. I moved to a town in Cali,(Bakersfield), and I gained 40 pounds within 2 years. I realized that I needed to lose some weight. But nothing motivates me! I want to! But I need identify what my motives are! And please can someone take me seriously and not ignore

  • @iRideRaksha hi im 12 and I weigh 140ibs. I want to lose 20-30 pounds too!!! I live in canada so its about 10 degrees celcius right now but have you tried water polo, softball, swimming, soccer.hockey, riding horses, volleyball basketball???? that might help!! I hope I could help and do you have any tips for me??? O and stay away from salt and fries food!!

  • @heartjilli1998 Eat a low sugar, low fat diet. Meals every three hours. Don't eat before you go to bed. Find an activity that you enjoy that will get you moving. Good Luck.

  • @iRideRaksha Start by asking yourself what do you like to do? Pick something you enjoy. Or you can do an activity that you might not exactly love, but can use an Ipod to make it more fun. Live an active life. You have to make the decision to do something about your weight. This is a very good step.. asking for help. Good Luck. Keep me posted on your progress.

  • I love how she just stops and stares you down. Reminds me of my niece so much when she did that.

  • @Twisted86 She was funny. She told me that she taught me how to jump rope. I just laugh.

  • @jumpropeclass

Well I must say you seem to have fun with your kid. A very rare trait in the world we live in today. Thanks for the reply and I am curious what rope are you using?

  • lol

  • Hi great video i am 12 years old and i am 145cm tall and way 6 and a half stone i have skipped everyday for 3 days ive put on weight but do u think im having a growing spert if not wats happening ohh , i try and eat as healthy as i can!

  • @XxSpyer26xX My daughter is having the same problem. Since your still growing, you can't rely on weight as much. Get a pair of jeans that you can barley fit in. Use those as a guide to how much fat you have. Try the jeans on every other day. Hope that helps.

  • hi my name is allana i weigh 140 im 12 years old height 5'2 i need help burning this fat off so i can look good for my dance so i wont have to squesse in that bathintg suit

  • @VincentGregory90 Eat five small low fat, low sugar meals a day. Also, try not to eat up to three hours before you got to bed. That should do it. Good luck.

  • he can jump rope the girl like slow down

  • hi i am a boy aged 16yrs old and weight 90kg um 200lbs i need to loose 90-80lbs alot weight i dont got jumping rope even i tried it its hard for me !! so can i do just jumping for an hour or 2 as if pretending to have a jumping rope to loose weight i have low calorie intake diet !!! wat do u think and any other advice :P?

  • Start by pretending to jump with a rope. That's fine. Just start moving more every day so you burn more calories. Eventually, start with a rope. Make sure it's the right size. The handles should come up to your armpits. Eat 5 small meals every day and stop eating 3 hours before you go to bed. Good Luck.

  • @runescapeclassicable Eat very healthy-no sweets! I planning on losing weight im 14 and i weigh 90lbs. Exersice each day-after school for 2 hours-this may depend on your homework schedule. On Fridays I go to the YMCA with my friends for 3-4 hours to work out and play basketball and go rock climbing. That way i lose 2 lbs. a week.

  • other than a diet all you did was jump rope cardio wise

  • ok,big problem!!!12 years,162cm,74 KG!!!! i can't lose weight,i'll try this,how many kg can i lose in 1 week if i jump rope 30-60 min on day???

  • @Dejan185 don't ask, go and try it man..

  • It depends more on your diet. Make sure you are on a low fat, low sugar diet. The jump rope will help you to reach your goal. Just burn more calories than you take in.

  • @jumpropeclass A question about calories: when you say burn more than you take in, do you mean that a person should burn, say, 1500 calories if they eat 1200 calories? Thx.

  • how long a day should u jump?? im sadly an over weighty kid from sweden and im 13 and wait 55 kg :( i got a big trampoline and will that work too?? how long a day do u think i should jump, please help me,

  • 15 - 30 minutes to start. Then slowly work your way up to an hour. Just keep moving to burn more calories and you'll do just fine.

  • Lil mama is doing better than most. Keep it up, don't get discourage.

  • How long did you jump rope for everyday? And how long did it take you to lose the 100 lbs?

  • I jumped for 1 - 4 hours a day. It took 8 months to lose the weight.

  • Happy Father's Day to you sir! Keep on jumping! And please upload more youtube videos, we really appreciate your dedication.

  • Thanks. Don't worry. You'll see some more soon.

  • Große Klasse!!!!

  • Thanks. It took me a while to find the translation, but I found it.

  • when I was your daughter's age they'd teach us to count to ten doing a high energy skip and then the swing the rope in front of us like you do 4 times and then skip because otherwise we got bored! just reminiscing :)

  • Im an over weight guy..I'm trying to lose weight by boxing and one of the things I need to learn is how to jump rope correctly..unfortunately since im a heavy set guy my knee's and feet dont last long on the roap because they can't take the impact..any pointers?

  • Get sneakers with thick soles, like basketball sneakers. They will help absorb the presure. Also, make sure not to jump to high off the ground.

  • Awesome work dad!

  • Thanks. Cherish your kids while you have the chance!!!!!

  • Wow what are those trophies on top from?

  • I would love to say that they were my jump roping trophies, but I can't. The video was shot at a dance studio

  • @jumpropeclass Haha. Really good work tho, congratulations!

  • oh, 2-3 hours non- stop??? Great!!! crazy!!!!
