  • my eeepc 1000h got flooded it's still alive, I barely turn it off! I Find this really reliable since my other laptop's (which is newer than my eeepc) battery won't even last an hour but my asus still run's well up to 3 hours(super performance mode) I even use it as a router since it has wifi n.

  • sorry, i cannot say the my Asus notebook(k52jc-x2) has been reliable at all. When it was 4 months old the LCD broke, they replaced it, but never checked the webcam cmos. So, another 2 weeks later I finally got it back again, but with the wrong driver installed(image upside down issue). Apparently the techs don't check their work.

  • the power cable for my asus g72gx died after 4 months :p

  • How about my roommate spills water all over my computer in Russia and my "ASUS 1 year global accidental waranty" turns out to be worth nothing!

  • good computers never had problems with it only with windows so make your own damn os asus

  • Too bad for the guy in the video that his trip to Taiwan would not show him how motherboards are made as ASUS has moved their MB mfg to mainland China.

  • I love asus, I have a G1 laptop, after 3 years, still running strong...! and more likely will buy asus again

  • @rick664ath Well it gets better, have you tried installing a retail version of Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on your G1 like I did on my Asus G2S and running it super stable with all the main features running smoothly? You would have 2 computers in 1 u know....

  • cs is good. i've owned toshiba, dell, sony, ibm (not lenovo). never have i had to ship a notebook 5 times for repair/replacement. it was my first ANUS notebook.

because ANUS is a popular brand most of the boards i deal with are made by ANUS. Because of that most caps i replaced are in ANUS boards. Not that other brands don't have problems, but ANUS seems to be very popular because of their generally high end stuff.

  • Hi Will. You're dumb.

  • Good luck getting any type of support from this company. Their customer service is almost non-existent.

  • +1 crappy customer service and defective products, they have big problems with the reliability of their motherboards, power management, buggy BIOS software and if this happens with a laptop it will cost you more than the value of the laptop to get it replaced, so effectively you will lose most of your investment, you have been warned! ASUCKS!

  • M4A77TD PRO was real inovation. 770/710 DDR3 and Phenom 3 when most could not. Rebuilt for the AM3 DDR3. Amazed with the performance it keeps up with a 790FX. board it put other manufactures in it's class to shame. Once again the raid is eqipped with seperate channels making sets independent. I'm hoping M4A77TD PRO would be able to use the 8 core, the latest Asus products don't have quality and perfection they use to. Pride is admitting Asus had a winner, Why burry it when it is whip ass?

  • What about you crappy Customer Service!

  • nice

  • It's asUs... NOT Asus :)

  • I've got the Crosshair IV Formula, it's awesome, keeps my comp cool

  • my mobos are always Asus :p

  • I've got my M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 and it is awesome but often the asus Germany site is down. Didn't know why, but this is for me not Reliability

  • ASUS makes great products, but needs to work on there support which is lacking!

  • I'm buying an Asus Laptop (preferably UL series) and come back to this video after 10 years to tell my story!

  • @espio142 noted i will contact you 2020

even thou the world ends 2012

  • @taltigolt if i don't consider this a joke , your an idiot.

  • @fazorni then you havn't heard of 2012

but yea who knows only time will tell

  • @taltigolt yeah, who knows

  • @espio142 What ever you do don't buy a G series they all have problems, I had the G51 and the G60 both broke in two weeks of use. The N and U series are very good. :)

  • @espio142 i've got the ul30a and it's awesome

  • @espio142

You will be lucky, look on Ebay, it is full of 2 or 3 year old ASUS laptops that are broken and not even worth $50 dollars, that is where you will be in 2 or 3 years, crying wishing you had bought something else and cursing the day you didn't take my advice! ASUS SUCKS!

  • @JayDeeLives Good thing i do not expect a laptop to go for longer than 1 year :P. After that time i buy a new laptop which is just a little better, etc.

  • @espio142 That's nice. I have a Power Mac G3 next to me that's been running for 13 years, with zero problems.

I like how they're talking about this as if it's a car, or a pacemaker, something that was really vital, lawl. If a MoBo dies it dies, not like you lose your data.

  • @espio142 waiting...

  • @susus2222 9 more years
