Actually, I didn't play it too fast. =p A cover is in fact an artist's interpretation of another artist's work. Therefore, I simply interpreted the song differently than you. I was more comfortable playing it slightly faster, I felt it helped move the song along just a little bit. Thanks for the advice though!
