Also, it's been very amusing to see the hateful utterances of "the best fans in college football" these past few years when things haven't gone your way. It's one thing to be condescendingly "nice" when your team is pulling down championships every other year - quite another when they lose regularly, huh?

@r4dice86 we haven't lost regularly since callahan got fired. we are the best fans in college football because our stadium was packed with 85,000 fans every saturday even when we had our losing seasons. we have sold out 304 consecutive games. you guys are lucky enough to sell out 1 game a year.  At least our football team has won championships and we are respectful to our opponents except colorado because their all assholes. and we will be gracious because we will be good and we will win games

Third of all, you did not have a brutal defense and you did not have a NFL Caliber DT. Fourth of all once again the Big Ten does not have a conference championship game. Apparently you didn't watch the game. Nebraska's defense totally shut down ISU's offense. ISU's offense is absolutely pathetic! Nebraska's offense moved the ball up and down the field with no problem but when they got into the red zone they fumbled. ISU was given 8 turnovers and they only scored 9 points! Nebraska totally dominated the game but lost due to turnovers! Next time watch the game before commenting on it!!

Nebraska will never have a game like that again. It was a total fluke. Had Nebraska hung onto the ball they would have scored 3 or 4 more touchdowns. Fumbles can be fixed in practice. A shitty offense like ISU's needs a lot more work. By the way, most of Nebraska's players are Callaghan recruits. Give Pelini a chance to get those losers out of there. Then you won't be so arrogant when the Big Red starts kicking ass again on a regular basis!

I watched Lee throw twice to an ISU DB without a single ISU lineman on him. I also saw two Nebraska fumbles that were unforced. That makes 4 out of 8 turnovers GIVEN to your team. Nebraska's defense totally suffocated ISU's offense. The Cyclones couldn't do a thing on offense. Arnaud and Robinson would have been just as ineffective. We can play the "what if" game all day. And if you want to play the "what if" game. What if Nebraska's starting tailback hadn't been kicked off the team in late summer? His name is Quentin Castille and he's a monster runner blessed with speed. He would have rammed the ball down the Cyclones throats, totally changing the game, and probably eliminating most of those turnovers. Nebraska probably would have won by 4 or 5 touchdowns. Just take your lucky gift Nebraska gave you and be happy. It was a fluke game that will never happen again.
