Ok... who's even talkin about a 2011 stang when they aren't even out? My car was nearly stock beating the newer stangs, I had a k&n air-filter and no muffler which together gives me a whopping 10 hp.
Now i have headers, cutouts, free mods, a tune and DRs too. A bone stock LS1 car has ran 12.7 on slicks which is exactly what the new GT runs. I really don't feel threatened by the new GT my 13 year old car will eat them up.

@subykid13 i just got stationed in okinawa and i picked up a twin turbo subaru legacy blitzen. its quick for what it is but the reliability is terrible its been in the shop twice already and i havent even beaten on it that hard. im afraid to go anywhere near the redline even when i granny shift because of the horrible gear box

Mustangs have always sold because of their nameplate. It doesn't matter that the Camaro has ALWAYS been the superior car. I used to restore Mustangs & Camaros for a living. Camaros NEVER had cardboard heater boxes. Chevy was NEVER stupid enough to put the oil sump on a performance engine in the front. Mustangs are cheaply built pieces of crap. Always have been, always will be.

If you want a fun fact I recall in 1985 the Ford Mustang was to be revise into a fwd V6 like the Mazda MX6 due to poor sales, but many Ford lovers didn't want this to happened b/c their wasn't a V8 option. So instead they turned the new design into the Ford Probe

Ok... who's even talkin about a 2011 stang when they aren't even out? My car was nearly stock beating the newer stangs, I had a k&n air-filter and no muffler which together gives me a whopping 10 hp.
Now i have headers, cutouts, free mods, a tune and DRs too. A bone stock LS1 car has ran 12.7 on slicks which is exactly what the new GT runs. I really don't feel threatened by the new GT my 13 year old car will eat them up.
btw, I'm now running easy 12.2s

The Z28 will be cheaper than the Shelby, so you can't even compare them. Also, GM ALWAYS have made the best engines and ALWAYS will.
