So when were all bitching about how bad channel 7's commentary is these days, just remember how shithouse it was way back then... Diffey, Oastler and Rusty were bloody amateurs.

@dazza027 I don't think it's the commentary that's the problem - they have some really good commentators channel 7, maybe with the exception of Matty White, don't think he's much good... I think the bigger problem with channel 7 is their questionable commitment with the AFL as well. Their coverage isn't much chop either. Cheers for watching though.

@dazza027 Diffey was only 27 at the time and was pit reporter for the 2011 Bathurst and Gold Coast races where Fox Sports Group US brought a four-man commentary crew trackside for the races (Mike Joy and Darrell Waltrip, both over 60, were in the booth and received compliments from Aussies for their call).
