Saw Steve Hackett with this lineup & Nick Magnus on Keys,1980 Cured Tour in Mannheim Germany while stationed with U.S. Army, what a memorable gig i'll never forget
This track sounds VERY Genesis-esque. Could have been on "Wind and Wuthering", but I'm glad Steve decided to do it in his solo career. :) I bet he saves it for the end of his concerts.
Apart from the apparent 'lapse' at 1.15, this is brilliant - classic Hackett live - fantastico! Takes me back to Brighton June '79 at the 'Dome' and Canterbury July '80, at the old Odeon Cinema, now 'old' Marlowe Theatre. Keep 'em coming! One who was 'there'!
Indeed those were the days. Awesome track, just passed its 30th birthday. Yes , i remember the Odeon gig Canterbury! Also saw him on the Cured tour at margate Winter Gdns. Alos looking forward to seeing him at Shepherds bush in Nov, when I'm sure this will get an airing!
And I was also ' there' - Birmingham Odeon and Coventry Theatre in 1980 and Notts Theatre Royal and Bristol Colston Hall in 1981 - my only regret is that I wasnt 'there' in 1979!
fantastic track here. that drumset looks pretty easy to play, hahaha.

If this is 1980, then that's not Ian Mosely but John Shearer. It certainly looks like Mr. Shearer...
