@OctopuPilot Old post I know. I think it has something to do with the Ampulae of Lorentzini (electro receptors on the shark) As from my experience, this trick works better with sharks that have well developed amulae, such as whalers, tigers, GWS, Makos etc. Things like Nurse sharks and leopard sharks it hardly works on.... wobbygongs- not at all
@sharkytrue I think my sharks need to ask the Sharky a question, and yes us sharkies need to stick together. Real sharks are endangered, but us YouTube sharks are going from strength to strength!
this only works on female sarks

Sharks become paralyzed if tipped upside down... best way to describe it. :P

I knew he would tip the shark upside down on his back! Clever!
That's weird it happens to them - could somebody explain me why sharks "faint" when they're tipped over?
OctopuPilot 1 year ago 4
@OctopuPilot Yep weird but true. Google 'tonic immobility' to learn more about it.
one1whale 1 year ago
@OctopuPilot Well most of them have to keep swiming, so yah, but they can still flip back up, if they have the enrgey.
