  • I just don't understand the accent. I would love to read it from subtitles. Don't know English that much

  • These dog training videos have the calmest dogs I have ever seen.

  • Help. my puppy totally hates the leash. he freaked out and pull in the opposite direction everytime the leash is attached. what should I do?

  • this guy makes sense, straight to the point.

  • The dog wasn't pulled, ease up you pussies. The guy's a dog trainer not a professional TV host-as Maverick will learn not to eat your leg in public, he will learn to be a little more Gen Y centric. Focus kids!

  • thanks for doing this with a dog that is not already taught

  • I have a 10 week old rottweiler male and he will not walk, whenever i try to take him for a walk he just sits and I don't like dragging him .

    Any suggestions?

  • @VEN0M182 same with me but just my is 6 months old

    should have started earlier

  • the dog is so cute!

  • I do love dogs but I love cats so if you want more vews make a channel for cats to... Just saying it's not fair to cats

  • Thanks for the video! he reminds me of Mr. mackey ja ;)

  • Cutest. Puppy. Ever.

  • 'mkay?! :D:D:D

  • I have a 10 week old bullmastiff and he nips at you and bites at your feet how can we stop him from doing this? I do replace my feet, hands, or whatever he's biting at with a soft toy and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't could you give me some pointers. Thanks

  • that puppy is sooooo cute!!!!

  • My puppy is a bit younger than that, and this would be a lot easier if I could first get him to stop scratching at his collar and chewing on the lead...

  • He isn't being cruel at all!

  • Thank you for this video. I just got a new golden retriever 3 days ago. She already comes when she is called and sits on command. I think she will be a very quick learner and will apply these techniques.

  • i love this puppy! his is adorable. lol. i loved how distracted he got by the cameraman ahaha

  • I picked up my pup today, and was shocked his recall skills were so poor, I'm excitable but couldn't get much of a reaction. I feel alot better after watching this video, as this pup is about as useless as mine. Today was the first time he had a lead too, I tried to walk him and he just sat there, as before, so glad this is normal behaviour. :D

Also regarding the harness, anyone pulling a puppy hard enough to hurt it, collar or not, should be shot... A collar is fine for a little guy.

  • Pulling the leash is bad, m-kay. You should´nt pull the leash, m-kay.Watch a lot of south park do ya? Watching to much South Park is bad M-kay. M-kay?

  • @hjelkrem79 thats the only think i kept thinking thru the whole video LOL m'kay LOL

  • Aw that Puppy is so Cute

  • Left hand in the lead and luring with the right when you're teaching loose lead walking????? Isn't that wrong, far too much tention in the lead. Taking off on your right and giving the dog the wrong que??? Isn't that wrong. Recall wasn't interesting for the dog you need to move back and create a target for the dog to come into. No dog is going to work for that boring recall.

  • You know what they say about opinions!

    Sidney Aarons

  • thanks for the tips! just got a new puppy and i was having difficulties. hopefully this works out for me!

  • Get a harness don't pull his neck. That is just cruel. Just my opinion.

  • @uhavemooface Thanks for your comment. That's an interesting point. I guess Sidney might say that it's far more cruel to have an out of control dog that could get into all sorts of trouble. Harnesses are great for some situations but not all.

  • @stevenpam I agree

  • @stevenpam my dog wont listen on a harness, if shes pulling, she'll stop and sit and wait for me to take 1-3 steps, then repeat.... but wont come on command, with a collar, she never stops pulling, but comes when i call her.

  • @uhavemooface how is it cruel... its not like the guys pulling him across the field or anything hes hardly tugging it. i think theres far more "cruel" things you can do to a dog than walking it on a leash with a collar. lol.

  • @uhavemooface you know what they say about opinions!

  • @uhavemooface Yea it's not cruel to them. Most humans think when a dog whines it needs to be hugged and kissed and stuff well the same with a neck collar they tug and pull on it themselves just like the bite tomple over in rough play by themselves and humans think they are fighting when they are far from it,

  • Thank you! That is a nice demonstration. I am about to get a puppy this weekend and I'll be sure to follow your methods.

  • If you watch some of the other segments I have done on Houndtv you will see I have covered that.

  • you should have shown what to do when the puppy pulls on the lead since that's another problem come across while teaching thier dogs to heel

  • the host is terrible, and not funny

  • I know you are, but what am I?

  • ur gonna play these childish games?

  • Fun, isn't it!

  • @Alec772 Is he supposed to be funny? This is an educational viseo, not a comedy.

  • @Alec772 its only coz he auzy
