To join in with the female comedian debate: I'm a female myself but have no trouble in seeing that generally, I don't find female comics as funny as men. However there are a few exceptions (like Andi Osho, Sarah Millican, Jo Brand) who I prefer over some very popular male comics like Bill Bailey or Rob Brydon.

It's all subjective. People have different opinions. Get over it.

That's not to say that there aren't any funny women at all but usually the ones I like are ones who don't do lot's of material about being a woman like Shappi Korsandi and Andi Osho.

That`s a fair point. It`s an evolutionary thing. Women don`t NEED to be funny....men already find them attractive as they are. Whereas if a man can`t make a woman laugh, they`re dead in the gene pool (unless they look like Brad Pitt).
