@ASTAROTH13666 Don't have this rig anymore but I did it that way to relieve the stress on the cards when flying FSX flight simulator. Its served its purpose. I have a different set up now with the ATi 5970 which has two processors in the card. BTW crossfire is for ATi cards and SLI is for Nvidia cards.

Why... Just why? You can get a single 5850 and play Crysis at max everything including AA, perfectly! Hmmm i guess if you have the money go for it, but good god man! Lol

12 GBs of RAM are too mutch. This large Capacity your System can't manage. OK it works but you are loosing Power of the System. 4 GBs you can OC with this System and than you have 4GBs at 2000MHz. Three Graphic-Cards are 20%-30% more Power of Graphic and Physik. Only in 3D Marks you are getting a very higher Score. In Games you can use One but not three...two are too mutch too.

great system but i dislike nvidia ^^ ati rules :D what about upgrading to 4 * ati hd 5870 ? but really nice cable management and a cool inside of your case ; what do the green windows do ? if you upgrade to ati you could use eyefinity that looks even more great with fsx and other aircraft simulations ;) i use eyefinity with an 5850 and this makes games like bfbc2 looks like a panorama ;)

Thats a build I did last year. With trial and error it cost over 7,000. But the new one in my videos is around 3600 to 4000. I have the i7 920 overclocked to 4.2 ghz.

The i7 975 wasnt out when I got the 965 and when it came out I realized I spent to much money when I could get the 920 to overclock higher then 3.33. I have the 920 at 4.2 presently
i overclocked my phenom 965 to 3.7 today on the stock air cooler then ram prime95 for a while. i want to get an H0 or full watercooling and see what i can do then
Fortunately for me, I did exactly that with 3 SSD's 80gb each in RAID 0. Also have ATI 5970, and 6gb of Dominator GT Ram 2000mhz. 1tb Hard drive for storage and 320gb for storage. Thanks for watching.
i have 2 300gb velocirapors as well. their on a fast raid0 controler and the constant transfer rate with them is over 100Mb/s, which really isnt near as fast as i thought they would be. but i do have a lot of games and their all large, abut 15gb+ so SSD's wouldnt be that great for me without spending about $700 for the memory i need.

2 molex to 1 six pin? are you using that the whole time? because it isn't made for that it's just an alternative for someone who doesn't have a power supply which can run this AND is going to buy a new one. :P

well fortunately for me, I built it and it never leaked. You buy the right stuff and put it together the right way and no problems. Im sorry you dont have the priviledge of owning a liquid cooled system, so you will never overclock or experience an advanced system.

I didnt fail, i actually changed to larger 1200 watt with all the 6 pins and 8 pins you can dream of before I ran into any problems. Check out the more recent videos and you will see.
Everyone says 12GB's is overkill which is True.. but if I had the cash I would so do it just so I could say... "Well I have 12 Gigs of RAM Bitch!" Don't know why or when I would ever say that but given the chance you bet your ass I would, besides your probably a 3D Renderer or something that requires that much ram..

your HDD's are way to slow to keep up with ur system, buy some decent sata controller and some SSD's...
Really usefull to use 6GPU's when only 4 is usuable in any kind of program |(except benches)|

very nice, very nice. I have never built my own PC; being a first time builder, I am a little skeptical about being able to pull something like this off. What watt power unit do you use. Does it ever get too hot? Really nice though.

well fortunately for me, I built it and it never leaked. You buy the right stuff and put it together the right way and no problems. Im sorry you dont have the priviledge of owning a liquid cooled system, so you will never overclock or experience an advanced system.

Hey thanks for showing me that Case the Obsidian looks cool in black. I think I might get it. The Atc's 840 is great and big but I want a case that is all black in and out. I would try the Corsair

Hey I purchase the 800D and it is Sick, it is better than the ATC's 840 by far. 5 stars. This case is super nice. Im building a new monster with more upgrades and using SSD drives this time. Will update you when Im done in 2 weeks. Thanks for letting me know about that case, its amazing.

I didnt fail, i actually changed to larger 1200 watt with all the 6 pins and 8 pins you can dream of before I ran into any problems. Check out the more recent videos and you will see.

Everyone says 12GB's is overkill which is True.. but if I had the cash I would so do it just so I could say... "Well I have 12 Gigs of RAM Bitch!" Don't know why or when I would ever say that but given the chance you bet your ass I would, besides your probably a 3D Renderer or something that requires that much ram..

nice build!!5/5 going extreme here but i dont get one thing you got 3 GTX285's and a 850watt power supply???can it handle them cards and the whole system...now that makes me feel better vuss i was getting worried of having three gtx 260's with a hipe m1000watts.lol.
