Must have been a running gag betweeen them. If you watch the Cork Opera House video of Follow Me, there's a similar interaction. Rory backs away from the mic, letting Gerry sing by himself. It sounds funny with only the harmony being sung and Rory starts laughing. They pan over to Gerry and he's smiling too. Great stuff!
He also used a Marshall combo during his rockier days (Shinkicker period) and also often had an old Ampeg as a second amp, I think even in this show, on the right side of the AC30
Looks like he's missing the bridge pick-up at this time or is the cover just too worn and yet to be replaced? The covers on it from the exhibit when I was over there seemed to match between them in wear.
