i used to think that predator 2 was crap but that was when i was younger i didnt understand the plot but now ive watched both films over again i understand them predator 2 isnt as good as the first one but its not bad at all its better than the rubbish avp films and even better better than predators that film is fucking rubbish full stop

i think the elder predator gives harrigan that gun as a mark of respect because he killed the predator who was on the hunt also i think its an idication that they will be back to hunt its obviousley a clue that they have visted planet earth for many years

Dutch (Arnold S) was to star in the sequeal but decieded to do Terminator 2 instead. If he had decied to return, I just wonder how his character would have been brought back. How will he fit in to the story ? How do guys think he might have returned?

@MovieTrailersParkTV What? great movie? the last predator movia was 80 % same as the first 1,but whit crapy actors. Same scenes and same dialog. I have been a predator 1 and 2 fan all my life,but all the new ones, could have been so much better with actor people knew from before.

when i saw the trailer at first (before watching Kindergarten Cop), it was quite surprising to see Ruben Blades in a movie, before Predator 2, i thought Ruben only was a music artist (with some memorable songs like "Pedro Navaja", "Buscando Guayaba [Looking for Guava]", and "El Padre Antonio y El Monaguillo Andres [Preacher Antonio and Andres the Altar Boy]"

@airwolfwwf i totaly freaking agree!........why on earth did they cast Danny Glover as the main rival to go up against the predator? maybe his the only one they can afford..

Dalph Lungren, Sylvestor stallone, kurt russell, van damme, Bruce willis..were all big 90's action heroes, but they chose Danny? besides that the movie is O.K.

should i get predator 2 on blu ray or dvd? i love this movie w/o a question. but i read reviews about the blu ray version and they say its not as grainy as 'predator' but has some DNR issues. so should i just get it on dvd if its got issues on blu ray anyway? or should i just wait until predator 3 comes out and FOX releases a better looking blu ray trilogy set?

the blu ray version sucks, so i say wait for a better version, there will most likely be new ones when Predators is released on blu-ray, so wait.

can anyone help me with this part that i'm confused about. at the end of Predator 2 the alien gives the cop a pistol from the mid-18th century. can anyone please explain the significance of the gun, why the pred gave it to him etc? cause it really has me stumped.

I think it's just to show that the predator has been around for hundreds of years - and is probably likely to return! oooooooh!

I read this too "During the finale when the elder Predator hands Danny Glover the gun dating from 1715, writers Jim Thomas and John Thomas had conceived an idea for a possible Predator movie which would take place in a time where was no modern weapons available to combat them, much like the finale of the original Predator

@thedarknesscallingme The Elder Predator gives the gun to Danny Glover as a gift or trophy for defeat the other predator. Also is a easter egg of the writter for a third movie which never has made. Sorry for my poor English, I'm still learning.

is like the requiem avp movie... i dont kno but the next movie coming out is called Predators.

I dunno what to expect, all I know is the preds abduct people, bring them to their home world and hunt them, which sounds stupid to me. And tohper grace is a co star, after he screwed up venom, I'm not lookin forward to seeing him.
