I really felt that this song should have won the Oscar. Toy Story has won so many. This song deserved it. Mandy Moore has a beautiful voice. She should of got one for singing "Only Hope" in A Walk to Remember. It still gets to me every time I hear it. But you should check out the Switchfoot version too. Beautiful.

It's sad that this didn't win (Though the Toy Story song that did win would have been my second choice), but "I See the Light" did win one distinction that night, for me at least: When each of the songs were performed on stage, "I See the Light" was the only one I sang along to.

Yes, Toy Story 3 may have been a better movie. But I definitely think it should've at least won Best Song since it wasn't nominated for Best Animated Feature. Plus, this was much better than "We Belong Together."
