  • Last winter I stayed in northern california with a wood stove in house and did nothing but lacto fermentation from raw dairy, collected the whey and made delicious probiotic drinks from apple juice, ginger juice, lemon nutmeg and had the cream cheese on rice toast with olive oil and peeper. Also made kimchee and beet kvass with its own probiotics on the leaf surface. It was a great period in my life and of good health. I believe they have at least a small place in the realm of food and nutrition

  • his sideburns makes him look like a villain

  • Perhaps it's just me, but a guy who always wears a dark suit, looks like Mandrake the magician, and talks about raw health creates a disconnect for me.

  • @canadianroot you're also a complete moron who finds a well dressed doctor who knows what he's talking about from 30-40 years of pure scientific research a "disconnect". Keep eating your hamburgers you tool.

  • @comicdweebify Somebody piss in your organic corn flakes this morning, Bud? Oh, by the way, I haven't eaten a hamburger in 30-40 years. You don't have any photographic evidence to the contrary, do you? My guess is you have the words "moron" and "tool" right there at the ready whenever you visit YT.

  • @canadianroot LOL says the close-minded douche who gets "Disconnected" by a guy wearing a dark suit? LAWL!

  • @canadianroot Speaking civilly, do you realize how incredibly stupid you look/your argument "Oh, Im not going to follow this guy because of his black suit and because he looks like some magician".. wtf is that?

  • @spruntfemalespray "cooked fat is toxic" No. Cooked PUFAs are the most toxic. Then MUFAs. Saturated fatty acids are very resistant to heat and not so toxic when cooked. PUFAs and MUFAs turn rancid into trans fats and they cause heart disease. Only exception is olive oil due to its high oleic acid.

  • great guy

  • I always say this but I am done with Pizza for now on. Never again.

Well maybe sometimes on weekends or what ever.

  • i love dr brian.just take b12 if u want bacteria for your gut

  • "Studies also show that kefir grain, used to start the cultured milk product kefir, also has anti-tumor activity. [Japanese Journal of Medical Science and Biology, 1982; 35] and kefir has been shown to stimulate the immune system. [Immunopharmacology, 1986; 12]"

I'm an ovo/lacto vegetarian and eat very limited amounts of eggs and dairy, but I have a hard time believing even small quantities of yogurt/kefir etc are as bad as claimed here, especially in light of their health benefits.

  • @sucktastic yea. this guy is extreme. good quality dairy has changed my life. i was struggling as a vegan, having to take supplements and protein powders. the cow produces more than enough milk for her offspring and a small human family. It's a loving act from God. We are their stewards. now, that is completely different from eating her!! animals and man are symbiotic.

  • @jjhaywood there no such thing as good quality dairy.the WHOLE wallet of milk does the job creating cancer Dr. Camble did the study.

  • @billtheman100 non sense Watson... non sense. My ancestors lived well into their 90's with no cancer and they were farmer who drank raw milk everyday. you can conduct a study to make spinach look like it causes cancer. try reading a book called "the vegetarian myth". it takes apart the china study. or don't read it and stay stuck in dogma.

  • @jjhaywood im a vegan long time already and i notice i feel great after eating but i remember not feeling well after consuming meat or dairy(ice cream) i always resemble being vegan & exercise because its hard to do it but it pays off

  • @billtheman100 thats nice. but read the book. and yes, I'm sure you feel great, thats what every Vegan says, buts it's a slow, loooong hill downward. Like this guy above finally figured out. You'll see. READ THE BOOK, even if it's bullshit, at least you won't be talking speculatively.

  • @jjhaywood : Not to mention that agriculture is one of the worst things you can do to the land. Yes, I'm reading that book also. I couldn't believe how much death agriculture causes! Astounding.

  • @jjhaywood

Some people get lucky. Diet's not everything. My grandma eats dairy and meat, none of which are organic, and lots of it. Most of her vegetables she eats are cooked, rarely raw food...But she exercises, and she's about 80 something, she used to smoke...I bet a good amount of people would have died already without such lucky genes. Overall, vegetarian/vegan is a very healthy diet. I did it as a moral choice, but the health benefits are just icing on the vegan cake :)

  • @jjhaywood A raw vegan shouldn't have to take supplements and especially protein powders. Many people fail going vegan because they have no idea what they are doing. In your case you had no idea.

  • @777TylerJB

I'd agree with the no supplements comment, and protein powder wtf? Come on haha, who would even use those. So many vegetables and fruits are complete proteins, and have a HEALTHY amount (too much protein is baaadddd) of protein needed to keep us alive, and thriving. Quinoa, hemp, maca root, goji berries, nuts, legumes, etc...

healthiest sources of protein are from plants. Easier to digest peanuts than a 6 oz. steak.

  • @jjhaywood

There's worse things. But milk is not intended for us to drink after a certain age...Yet our bodies adapt. Meat is worse, but I wouldn't claim dairy to be the next superfood lol. Good ol vegetables still top out that list :)

  • @MichaelBallack91 nope, you are wrong. dairy is worse then meat.

  • @jjhaywood : You are in good company. Gandhi struggled as a vegan and introduced goats milk into his diet at the advice of his physician. His health improved after doing this.

  • @sucktastic trust me believe EVERY word Dr.Brian says

  • Must be nice to have personal scientists to work for you. Let's see the study he claims published then it's work taking a look at.

  • No Journal would publish stuff like this. Its in dissonance with mainstream academia.

Even Journal publishing is a business, and they are there to make a profit. They won't publish Dr.Clements stuff as it would not bring them any more revenue, but cause their good name to be tarnished.

Although, I wish Dr. Clement did post his research online, so it may be peer reviewed by other scientists who are open minded.

  • make a transcript in the description, the sound isnt great, but the information is amazing

  • Well, could some commentator help me please: I have not read the China Study. Dr. Clements' information HERE sounds groundbreaking. But WAS the China Study based on dried casein powder or something else?

  • My opinion is that most people are quick to rubbish Dr Clement as they don't want to know the truth because they are to secure consuming meat and dairy.

  • Its not that, the truth is that we know our diets are not ideal, but we also know that we are not all goint to get cancer from eating meat as a lot of it depends on our genetic disposition to fending off illness.. added to which is the fact that no one escapes death so why give up some of the pleasures we do have in life just to eat raw food all the time.. It might delay illness and death but it certainly wont prevent it.. that is a fact that maney raw fooders forget

  • you assume that raw food doesn't bring pleasure...

  • well.. I guesse you would need to be an imaginative chef and have a fair bit of cash at your disposal, I just cant imagine getting enough calories only eating raw fruit and veg thats my thing.. I like to eat

  • all you need is a good food processer, a juicer and a dehydrater and you can make all the delicious raw food anyone could want! Alot cheaper than buying a stove and a microwave! BTW, it's not just fruits and veggies, you can have nuts, seeds(which can be made into all sorts of unimaginable delights) and sprouts too!

    Happy eating...

  • I like to eat too. Once I eat cooked food though I can't stop, even when I'm totally full. I find cooked food addictive and my body just can't get what it needs from eating that way. Only raw food satisfies me.

Raw food allowed my body to heal from IBS, chronic fatigue and recurring depression.

I now eat 20 to 30 peices of fruit and 1 to 2pounds of leafy greens a day and pretty much nothing else.

If you want to feel AWESOME then try out a low fat raw vegan diet for a month.

  • @eamon501 Your opinion is arrogant and complete bullocks. In fact, lets move away from opinions here and onto the fact that vegans typically have a multitude of deficiencies. They are skinny as rakes and the idea they could fight off wild animals is a joke. Thats why there is no trace in history of a vegan tribe EVER! Chances are, you wouldn't be here now if your ancestors never eat meat. Dont be so arrogant and self righteous.

  • @1madaboutguitar

Our ancestors weren't eating meat that was fed genetically modified foods, shot full of hormones, kept in a confined space for their entire existence before being gutted while conscious.

You can't make a blanket statement that all vegans are unhealthy and deficient just like I cannot say all meat eaters are obese with high cholesterol.

Vegans comes in all shapes and sizes, some eat a more balanced diet than others, just like meat eaters.

  • @eamon501 the key is source, and quality of food, not throwing out a category of food. Milk once pasteurized, no longer nourishes but can poison, same with cooking everything which changes food to mild poison.

  • "Brian Clement: Danger of Cell Phones"

  • The China study used dried casein protein powder, NOT raw milk, which does NOT answer this womens question. This guy has some good theories, but his theory on raw dairy is flawed.

  • Nope. What he said about bacteria is correct. Even with Raw milk the bacteria's produced by Keefer are few of the many needed.

To this specific question, he is against Keefer as a Pro biotic, for the reason it has only a small portion of the necessary bacteria.

In that sense, it is a perfect answer to the woman's question. She asked about Keefer as a pro biotic.

  • @zenjirou I happen to be a natural practitioner, i agree this guy may mean well but he's extreme. The lady mentioned that she makes her own kefir with grains with goats milk - EXCELLENT !! The "Dr." mentions that it's the casein in dairy products that is one of the culprits, yet kefir is a fermented dairy product that when the beneficial bacteria pre-digests the milk (ferments), it digests or converts the casein so there is little if any casein left in the kefir- actually prevents cancer

  • @asexyboi4u Not extreme. Read the China Study...meat and dairy is killing us all. Follow the money: There's no money in healthy people, and there's no money in daed people. The money is in people who are alive, but sick. We've been fed propaganda our entire lives, so when someone tells us the facts (not truth, facts), we have cognitive dissonance.

  • @zenjirou Furthermore, when you make your own kefir, you don't have only acidophilus bacteria, buy millions upon millions, n maybe more like billions of strains that serve you n your gut and this is important due to medications/ poisons killing off these good organisms in gut, especially antibiotics. Also, some is better then none. Key to health is digestion and elimination, and keeping that in order / strong is a strong immune since not deficient but receiving your nutrients - low risk cancer

  • Disturbing news.
