Absolutely Brilliant. I believe it to be Depp's best. Mary Staurt Masterson and Aiden Quinn Did amazing as well. Great music along with it. I agree, this couple in this movie is the most sincere thing ever. Amazing.

@moran910 For sure. Absolutely a stand out performance by Masterson. Still yet to see more of her work. Aidan Quinn is wonderful also. The Depp comment was mainly due to this film being one mainly overlooked. It's a romcom that, unlike most, delivers with humour but also sincerity. Unfortunately the crap that's squeezed out of Hollywood these days provides neither. This is a testament to a career of versatility - he's got the looks and charm - but he's an artist in a rather insular industry.

I love this movie because it proves that mental capacity has nothing to do with what it takes to love a person! My fiance, as a child, was hit by a truck and went into a coma. If he hadn't been young, and his brain wasn't able to reroute itself, he would be brain dead. He's nothing compared to Joon, no, he just seems a little slow to everybody else. But he capability to show and express affection is so fulfilling, and he a genius about what's REALLY important. I have faith in him.
